The moon’s a quarter million miles away, isn’t it? Leaves plenty of room.

Never heard of “Night of the Comet” but find it amusing that the guy in the brown leather jacket to the left of the motorcycle appears to to be holding an 1890s Iver Johnson or Smith & Wesson .38 revolver.

What’s with a “warning”? It is passing between the earth and moon...so, if you just so happen to be orbiting somewhere out there, maybe you need a “warning”. Since no one can do anything about it, who gives a rat’s a**?

I used to work right around where much of that was filmed, and yes it really was that clean back then.

Just a warm-up drill for 99942 Apophis on April 13, 2029?
At a minimum, everyone living within 100-miles of the east or west coast should be stocking up on rafts and scuba equipment approaches...
Ideally everyone should bend over and kiss their butt goodbye...

"April 13, 2029 is past my best by date anyhow." Although I'm 85, I've decided (mentally) that my "best by" date is Nov 2044... Now, if my body would just stop arguing with me...{:-)

Ill be wearing my Joo Janta 300 super chromatic peril sensitive sunglasses on that day. Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Peril Sensitive Sunglasses have been specially designed to help people develop a relaxed attitude to danger. At the first hint of trouble, they turn totally black and thus prevent you from seeing anything that might alarm you. ― Douglas Adams, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
