He looks strong and healthy. Hopefully his delayed adolescence is behind him. Go, Tiger!

Barring any girlfriend coming after him with a 9 iron.

The night is still young.

I have never been a big TW fan but after his affairs became public, I was thoroughly disgusted. He is like BHO- he’s half AA, half Thai but the media treats him like he is 100% AA. In fact, the media slobbers all over him. Absurd.
I think he is a massive phony and don’t like him.

Thirty-Six holes to go. It is a very crowded leaderboard and anyone at even or better has a chance, IMO. Players can easily make up five shots over the back nine on a given day. Whether Tiger has the fortitude for four rounds of outstanding golf is debatable - he has not done that yet this year. And the weather may be an issue on Sunday - rain predicted. Personally, Im rooting for Mickelson or Fowler or McIlroy, who unfortunately struggled today but he did make the cut.

He has trouble with putts between 5 and 10 feet — bodes poorly for the weekend. And there are a lot of young guns between him and another green jacket.

He is great golfer sure, but he is just not a likable guy.

That was one shot out of the lead shared by Jason Day, Francesco Molinari, Brooks Koepka, Adam Scott and Louis Oosthuizen.

Time to break out Tigers Kryptonite

Would LOVE to see Mickelson pull it off (he would be the oldest player to win it) but unfortunately, it seems like he falls off after fast starts in recent majors. Hope he can stay strong this time.

I’m rooting for Eldrick Woods to lose (I refuse to call him by a nickname).

Top 5 golfer for sure...but you can’t go 11 years in your prime without winning one of the 4 Majors & expect to be considered the GOAT.

I think Woods set the standard on physical conditioning years ago, early in his career.

Look at all the young studs on the tour today and you'll see young men who are obviously hitting the gym.......

As a side note, has anyone watched any of the Long Drive tournaments on the Golf Channel? Those guys are monsters who obviously live in the gym.......LOL!

So the headline should be:
Jason Day, Francesco Molinari, Brooks Koepka, Adam Scott and Louis Oosthuizen are better then Tiger Woods.

5 guys doing better and they report on Tiger Woods as if the 5 guys practically do not exist.

Right now it looks like Molinari is the man to beat. Through fifty-one holes he has one, count ‘me, one, bogey. An Italian Master’s champion?! There would definitely be pasta on the menu at next year’s champions dinner!

I am not a golfer and do not watch golf on television much, so take these remarks for what they’re worth. I do pay attention to some sports, and for that reason check ESPN several times a day. The amount of attention they pay to Tiger Woods is really outlandish.

Right now, a few hours after the third round has been completed, the lead story on the golf page has a headline “How Tiger gave himself a chance to win the Masters.” If you want to find out who is actually leading the Masters, you actually have to do a little work.

When he was younger was Tiger Woods a great golfer? Yes, he’s already one of the best of all time. Does he have a chance to win the Master’s now? Yes. Does he have the best chance? No. Who is actually leading the Masters, and isn’t that the most important thing to be covering?

ESPN has an unhealthy obsession with Tiger Woods, just as it does with LeBron James and Duke basketball. All year, and particularly this week, IMHO Tiger Woods has been getting coverage unjustified by his performance, at the expense of people who have been golfing better than he has been. Certainly, if Tiger Woods wins the Masters after all he has been through it will be a nice story. Does it justify focusing on him at the expense of people have been actually leading the Masters (or other tournaments (this is been a problem for awhile)? No way. Every week it seems that the golf coverage is first and foremost about Tiger Woods, not about who wins. I wonder if Disney has some stake in promoting Tiger Woods, as it does with LeBron James. Clearly, it has less of a stake in promoting sports coverage that is most important to fans by traditional criteria.

Win or lose, Molinari has shown me something. He is tough and a clutch putter. Forza Francesco!
