Accomplice poachers told the victim's family that he had been killed by an elephant on Tuesday.

"Entering Kruger National Park illegally and on foot is not wise,"

John ‘Pondoro’ Taylor wrote of an elephant hunter who used a particular cartridge that was poorly designed and not appropriate for large African game. A wounded elephant literally stomped the hunter into the ground. All that was recovered was the hunter’s belt and two boots with the feet still in them.
Now he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
Our military is involved. The ivory trade is run by Islamic terrorists. Ivory with transponders imbedded traced the trade routes from central Africa North to terrorist camps.
The Islamic terrorists sell to China and other buyers.
The battle between man and beast is one we are winning -yet we will suffer casualties
God DOES have a sense of humor !!!
I’m a lifelong hunter. I have hunted Africa and taken game there. I hunt within the law at all times. I am exactly what most hunters are, legal and ethical.
About this poacher? I wish this happened to each and every poacher.
Hunting laws and quotas are made and set by the wildlife biologists who manage wildlife per a scientific wildlife management plan. In all states in the US hunters fees fund the majority of these scientific plans.
In Africa the fees hunters pay are very high. These fees fund most of the wildlife management plans as well as the private sanctuaries that are allowing the herds to recover and restock.
Born free!
As free as the wind blows
And they only find some of your clothes
Cause the lions ate you.
Live free
Where beauty surrounds you
And the elephant pounds you
Into a little gooey mess.
Lion asks Rino: “You gonna eat that or what?
good, he had it coming
I have read that so many elephants are being harvested for their tusks, that it is becoming less common to see elephants with the large tusks seen on many males. Some never do grow any tusks at all.
A nasty run of bad luck if ever there was one.
“...but eventually found a human skull and a pair of trousers ...”
And a pair of flip flops in lion turd.
For some reason I find that both funny and singable.
Not with mouth full...
I hunted until about ten years ago, when I turned 70.
My Dad taught to me be licensed and only kill what was in season.
Then, you had to field dress it and finish the butchering at home. Then you shared the blessing with family and friends.
Our sons are like you and I. Grand kids are the same.
Karma is cool. As much as I hate to say it but that guy who shot a sleeping lion deserves a bit of karma as well.
