One play in the fourth quarter, however, seemed to sum up the Lakers struggles perfectly.
James, after a Suns made basket, went to inbound the ball. As he tossed it, it hit the bottom of the backboard and sailed out of bounds again, handing Phoenix the ball right back.
It was a careless turnover rarely seen at the NBA level.

(It's the Trump curse)
Point shaving?
Stoopid SOB ain't got the wherewithal to separate his ability to throw a round leather ball around...from his dubious and pitiable ability to perform as a Social Justice Warrior.
Too bad they all won't just shut the hell up and play ball, or sing, or whatever.
I have seen a few times where a guy grabs the ball off a made free throw, steps out of bounds to inbound the ball. He tosses it to the teammate walking towards him (who is usually the designated inbounder) who, in turn, promptly steps out of bounds to start the inbound play. Brain fart. It happens...
Cleveland is better without him.
LOL - yes it is!
the biggest mistake the Lakers made was getting Le Douche bag he only wanted to come here to be part of the resistance thats it..havent been able to root for that clown at all and I’m a due hard laker fan
die hard fan stupid auto correct
Maybe the Lakers would be better off without him too!
He was trying to toss it over one of his own players. It was still very careless.
Everything still kosher, LeBron?
Thugball. meh.
He should go the Jim Brown route and go into acting. I’ve seen clips of LeBron and the man can act.
LOL
The lakers have had many critical losses this year and last as well as the year before that.
LeBron makes at least one error a game and often many more leading to extra points for the opposition. No player can play perfect basketball game after game.
So you can find 82 games to start threads about, about 50 losses.
Or have the site owner set up a category for LeBron Bonehead Plays.
He will remain the greatest player of all time because he has the physical attributes to dominate a game, ala Chamberlain. irrespective of his political views..
Angry low IQ’ers.
You couldn’t pay me to watch Le Bra in ANY game...unless the amount was in the six figures.
Let’s face it, if Le Bra didn’t have top notch basketball skills, he would probably be selling drugs in the hood and would either be dead or in prison.
I remember when Le Bra played in NYC last year and refused to stay in a Trump-owned hotel. He’s an idiot.
34 and without the brains to retire before he becomes pathetic. Maybe he and Brett Favre can weep in each other’s beer.
Generally when we think of point shaving, it is an act done by a player to keep points under a total. It would happen when a team is favored to win the game, but a player deliberately misses baskets to keep the score under a total. For instance, suppose a college basketball game over/under total is projected by the odds makers to be 150. People know that team A is going to win, and player Joe is the top scorer. Team A leads throughout the game, but the score by Team A never quite gets too far out in front because player Joe seems to be having a bad night, and he misses shots he would normally make. At the end of the game, the score is 75 for Team A, and 74 for Team B, with the total being at 149 for the "Under."
If a player does an intentional act to cause his team to outright lose, that IMO, is even worse than point shaving. That being said, I don't think James would engage in point shaving or would intentionally do something to cause his team to lose.
LOL - I hate it when that happens. But I knew what you meant.
