I have seen a few times where a guy grabs the ball off a made free throw, steps out of bounds to inbound the ball. He tosses it to the teammate walking towards him (who is usually the designated inbounder) who, in turn, promptly steps out of bounds to start the inbound play. Brain fart. It happens...

Oversized guys get tired running up and down the court. They are also often jet lagged and play a very long season.

Brain farts are understandable when they get fatigued, especially for the older players.
