One play in the fourth quarter, however, seemed to sum up the Lakers struggles perfectly.
James, after a Suns made basket, went to inbound the ball. As he tossed it, it hit the bottom of the backboard and sailed out of bounds again, handing Phoenix the ball right back.
It was a careless turnover rarely seen at the NBA level.

I made a spreadsheet on foreign born players in the NBA a couple of weeks ago. I counted 109 out of roughly 450 roster spots. It's amazing how many of the good players are from the nations that made up former Yugoslovia. And there are more and more black foreign players particularly from Cameroon and Congo, as well as several from Western Europe.
Here's a further breakdown: Western Europe 35, Eastern Europe 26, North Africa 2, Central Africa 12, Canada 8, Aust/NZ 11, Caribbean 7, Turkey 2, South America 3, Israel 2, Japan 1.
They lost to the Suns? How far they have fallen...
Drazen Petrovic set the bar
Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up, even with LBJ.
Bump
Yes, that would be a GREAT starting lineup.
I figured he was trying to think up some bone-dumb anti-Trump nonsense to spout in the post-game interview.
Lebron can't think and bounce baska ball atta same time.
Hearn was great. So was Healy.
What s/he said.
(Sorry, don’t know whether you are male or female. But I agree with you. Except I can still watch the NBA, if only to criticize.)
Pistol Pete was my all-time favorite player, I used to go outside and try to copy his moves, albeit poorly.
I doubt all the rumors and news stories while the Lakers were trying to trade for AD helped the team. It had to have seriously damaged morale and team cohesion. There was one game where the fans were taunting: "Lebron's gonna trade you" when some of the Lakers were at the free throw line.
The 2018-2019 edition of the Lakers look to be in the toilet for the rest of the year.
LeBron James is here because of a careless mistake.
May I suggest you stick to your expertise and limit your sports commentary to soccer? Or hit the bong after you post.
Brain farts are understandable when they get fatigued, especially for the older players.
I would have loved to have seen Arvydas Sabonis play in the NBA in his prime, and not at the tail-end of his career.
Not quite his dad, but Domantas is a very nice player with room to grow
Ha!
I read a stat somewhere that if the Lakers are going to make the playoffs, from here on out they have to win 3 out of 4 games to do it. The loss to the Suns indicates that they’re not going to the playoffs.
A native Clevelander, I LOVE watching LeFraud James and his dees, dem, dat and dose command of the English language screw-in up in LA. Perhaps its tume to take your talents back to Souff Beach?
