That is a super long article. As far as I can tell it does not once mention the Fake letter sent through the US mail. And it does not once mention that Smollett is facing Federal charges.

Glad we have a Black judge on this one. That should block a lot of the nonsense sure to come under normal circumstances.
You know folks, the only difference between this case and the cases of Martin and Brown, is that we have adults in charge in the White House.
There will be no riots. There will be no BLM type organizations spring up out of this. ANTIFA won’t get so much as a footnote here.
Even Soros is probably smarter than to pay folks to show up somewhere to riot on this one. Trump would slap his ass in jail faster than he could flee prosecution.

Good for Judge Lyke Jr., he tells it like it is. Anyone who wants to be inspired by an African American judge would do well to watch this YT video of Judge Qiana Lillard, as she sentences Cory Rimson and Victoria Foster to prison.
The two tortured their 7-year-old son Immanuel to death.
It's worth watching to the very end. I was so, so impressed by this judge.
The woman got 27 to 50 years for torture and child abuse, with an additional 5 to 15 years for involuntary manslaughter.
The man, her "live-in boyfriend," got 10 to 15 years for manslaughter and 5 to 10 years for child abuse.
