Well we do know the LL had her "input" as to how the FBI should handle certain "matters".
I also saw several other references to the DOJ making decisions for them as well. Particular in reference to "gross negligence". She stated the HRC team could have admitted they were negligent and would never have been charged... Amazing....
Page says the DOJ refused to pursue “gross-negligence” charges against Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server to send classified information.
The reference to the Justice Department would be repeated multiple times with Page noting, “we had multiple conversations with the Justice Department about bringing a gross negligence charge. And that’s, as I said, the advice that we got from the Department was that they did not think—that it was constitutionally vague and not sustainable.”
“Let’s assume things are going swimmingly and, in fact, all 17 of those witnesses admit, ‘We did it, it was on purpose, we totally wanted to mishandle classified information,’ gross negligence would still have been off the table because of the Department’s assessment that it was vague. We would have other crimes to now charge, but gross negligence would not have been among them.”
Do you think the two tweets with “3:15” are related to one another? It would seem to me to be worth entertaining that idea. If so, it appears the whole plot for the unmasking before the election, coupled with “we are to look at the TIME magazine in 4 years”.... hmmmmm “Future Proves Past.”

No. I don’t believe either the FBI or US Attorneys need specific approval to start investigations, although they do inform the DAG or AG.

Democrats want Trump’s nominee for attorney general to assure them he won’t interfere in the special counsel’s investigation.
Attorney general nominee William Barr may have to recuse himself from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, activists and attorneys say, pointing to at least two arguments that he cannot impartially supervise Mueller.
The arguments indicate pressure for recusal may come from both sides of the aisle: Democrats are concerned that Barr prejudged the Mueller investigation in a 20-page memo written in June.
President Trump’s pick for attorney general, William Barr, was critical of the Mueller investigation in a memo to the Justice Department earlier this year, describing the inquiry into possible obstruction of justice by the president “fatally misconceived,” the Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday. In the June 8th memo, Barr couched his thoughts as a “former official” whose “views may be useful,” but, now, as the former attorney general at the tail end of the George H.W. Bush presidency is set to again take over the Justice Department, and likely the Mueller investigation as well, those views could decide the future course of the Russia investigation
