Those cuts required an Oxy torch and a diamond bladed industrial circular saw. And it appears to me that the saw and torch cuts were from each side of the bollards. So yeah, "they took marshaling of resources at this breach point".

There is a scene in the Tom Hanks movie about Sully the heroic airline pilot who landed in the Hudson River (IIRC). There is a government hearing, and Sully is on the spot for not actually taking his plane back to the airport. They ran simulations, you see, and the FAA had pilots in Sully's situation and they managed to get back to the airport after all their engines failed -- so why didn't Sully?

Hanks, as Sully, gets them to admit that their test pilots knew what the problem was going to be ahead of time, immediately turned toward the airport at the first moment of trouble (spending no time at all on problem analysis), had no lives at risk during their action -- and still had to practice the maneuver 17 times before they managed to land at the airport.

Political activists like to state that "this is easy" -- but they have to create absolutely ideal circumstances to "prove it".

From the article linked above. She was found by a neighbor who was out walking her dog. She took her to a nearby house and banged on the door until the lady that lives there let them in. They called 911 from there and the authorities have the suspect in custody.

“She seemed kind of in shock, and kind of timid, but she did talk to us a little bit. She came in and sat down in our living room and was able to have a conversation with us,” Kasinskas said.

Kasinskas added, “She did state who she believed had her, and she did give us a little information about the person’s car. But other than that she didn’t give us a ton of details. She kind of talked about being locked up or hidden when this person had to leave, but she did not go into any detail about how she got away.”

Transcripts of two closed-door testimonies by Lisa Page, the former assistant general counsel at the FBI, have provided new insights into the actions of the FBI, DOJ, and others—including CIA Director John Brennan—regarding their investigation into Donald Trump.

Included in the transcripts provided to us is information suggesting Brennan was aware of the so-called Steele dossier in early August 2016, and that he included information regarding the dossier in a briefing given to then-Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.).

Other key points in Page’s testimony before Congress:

The FBI appears to have considered investigating President Trump for obstruction of justice both before and after FBI Director James Comey was fired.

Page says the DOJ refused to pursue “gross-negligence” charges against Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server to send classified information.

FBI agent Michael Gaeta, head of the Eurasian Crime Squad, who received the dossier from former MI6 spy Steele in July 2016 is referred to in the transcript as Steele’s handler.

The FBI maintained a previously unknown verification file for the Steele dossier. Congressional investigators did not previously know of its existence.

John Carlin, the head of the DOJ’s National Security Division, was kept abreast of the FBI’s investigative activities through contact with then-Deputy FBI Director McCabe.

Page worked directly for DOJ official Bruce Ohr for at least five years and had met his wife, Nellie, once.
The role of FBI Agent Jonathan Moffa and DOJ official George Toscas may have been greater than initially assumed.

Grisly Mexican gang battle near U.S. border leaves 21 dead

REYNOSA, Mexico (Reuters) - The charred remains of 21 people killed in a suspected gang battle have been found in a Mexican border town, just over the river from where U.S. President Donald Trump was seeking to win support on Thursday for his plan to build a border wall.

Officials in the notoriously violent border state of Tamaulipas said they were investigating the incident, which took place in Ciudad Miguel Aleman, after discovering the bodies on Wednesday. Seventeen of the bodies were burned.

Photos shared with Reuters by a state official show the deceased scattered along a dirt track in scrubland, alongside burned-out vehicles.
