“Golden milk”
Mmmm...
I had two Avocados that needed to be eaten, so I will snack on them as I read the rest of the post.....
We bought some of these on sale for $0.39 per a few weeks ago. I think I paid 0.49 for the most recent batch.
Coffee? Olive oil?
Whether they are or aren't doesn't change the science and there's plenty of science behind these choices.
I know which one I'd rather date, too.
Mr family sawbones pointed out the people from India consume more tumeric than anywhere in the world. They also have the highest rate of Type II diabetes.
I man went to his doctor. He was overweight with high blood pressure. On his way out the doctor told him - And I want you to smoke only two cigars a day.
The man returned to the doctor 6 months later, having lost some weight and a bit fitter. The doctor asked him - well, how do you feel?
The man replied. Well, losing some weight wasn't that difficult, but starting smoking cigars at my age hasn't been easy...
I know, but you constantly see contradicting articles too. One day coffee bad, next day good, red wine this..raisins in, out ...bananas, never eat this, always eat that...
Whole lot of Crap, Crap, Crap...
I do take protein daily and I don’t wanna mix with milk. So I’m mixing with coconut milk and almond milk. Surprisingly, it’s not popular enough to be expensive! Not much more than cow milk and has lots less calories and is so good for you it grows hair back on your head. Well, that is what I was told.
"While the myth that fat is bad for your arteries has been debunked..."
"For optimal heart health, the American Heart Association recommends three to five servings of nuts per week."
Don't acknowledge the debunking of dietary fat on one hand while continuing to cite the AHA on the other. It's the AHA that got debunked along with dietary fat.
Get rid of the calcium with Vitamin K2-MK7 from natto or supplements. Study showed 6-8 weeks of K2 removed 50% of calcium buildup in mice.
I was told to go on statins. I told the doctor no I would try diet and exercise for a month. I cut back on bad fat (hydrogenated & refined soy/corn/canola), ate an avocado a day, and walked. I decreased the bad fat 23%. DR told me to keep doing what I was doing and no statins.
If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, you can get a bag of 6 small avocados for about $4.00. Great with some cottage cheese, spinach, vinegar and olive oil, salt and pepper.
(Or use it as garnish for your Denver omelet at breakfast!)
Four double whoppers with cheese work if you ask the kid to add a lot of bacon
Popular articles about science are generally crap. About nutrition even more so. Reporters write articles with a point. The studies are often just observations of correlation and don't contain any cause and effect.
It's not that the science is conflicted, although there is disagreement about what some of it means. It's more often that the popular accounts are meaningless. If it's something that interests you you have to dig deeper.
There’s just something about green soap (what they look like and consistency) .....
Where’s bacon?
Is here as we consume all of these items every day except for fish & avocado maybe 3/4 times a week (sardines on triscuts)
Sausage McM with egg hold the crappy yellow cheese.
Love-em
Avacodos, BACON, lettuce, walnuts, and dressing. Sounds good. Almost lunch time.
” (sardines on triscuts)”
No thanks,Skippy Super Chunk on Triscuits——yum!
.
I realize this article is about food, but add lots of exercise, good sleep and stress reduction (hobbies, friends and prayer). You may live a long life. If you’re lucky.
