An American tourist was killed by arrows shot by protected tribesmen living in one of the world's most isolated regions tucked in India's Andaman islands, police said Wednesday.
John Chau, 27, had taken a boat ride with local fishermen before venturing alone in a canoe to the remote North Sentinel Island where the indigenous people live cut off completely from the outside world.

I hate to say it, but it’s probably not worth pursuing. They’re a pre-technical Stone Age tribe who kill anyone who approaches, and have done so for at least a couple centuries. Fence them off and leave them alone.
One sneeze their way and they will all be 6 feet under.

On the island where I work, some indigenous groups have asked missionaries why it has taken 2000 years+ for missionaries to reach them. There is a history of many people, like this tribe, killing the messengers. Sadly, although I truly understand them wanting to be left alone, has sentenced their descendants to a life apart from Christ.
In my opinion, this missionary is a hero.
The Sentinelese have killed people attempting to land before, this is well known as is the ban on contact, which exists principally to protect those who would get themselves killed in just this way.
Well, I’ll never spend a dime of my money in their casino.

Because the people there are so isolated that you saying hello might launch all manner of diseases that could wipe them all out.
It is well known that people are to keep away from that island for decades.
Stupid people need to take note and leave these people alone.
Can’t play that on the radio nowadays........................
