Make no mistake, Democrats want to eradicate the Second Amendment, ban and seize all guns, and have all power rest with the state.

These people are dangerously obsessed with power.

Im pretty sure I recall seeing it ( country friend steak) on Bob Evan’s menu

I like friend green tomatoes. Have had ladies fried green tomatoes ladies parties.

it is the appetizer with various sauces/dips & have other southern dishes with it for meal. Pork shredded BBQ,/croissants; Fried chicken, MY cornbread casserole, scalloped cheese potatoes , southern fruity slaw and of course Red velvet cake for dessert.

drinks - why of course mint juleps ! Yukky sugary tea and other offerings

and then there is the viewing of Fried green tomatoes! Halfway through refresh drinks and have dessert

Always a nice night and I encourage the gals to dress the era. I still have my dress.. probably covered in mold and raccoon smell.. but I still have it!

That’s our President’s perfect trolling of Nancy.

She wouldn’t dare accept any pubbie help as then she would be seen as a weak Speaker.

This is going to be so much fun to watch.

More popcorn bought!

They go from college to sitting at a desk, dictating stupid regulations to people living in the real world.

Sounds like fun!

“MY cornbread casserole”

Oh, I have to have THAT recipe!!!

“Yukky sugary tea”

That’s the only way they serve it here. You have to catch the waitress as she’s walking away to say UNSWEETENED and then the entire restaurant gives you shocked looks.

We have practically no leaves - only from lilac bushes.

But we have a plethora of pine needles.

Since I live in Texas, I have to brag:

Chicken fried steak is every Texan’s dream meal so it is no surprise that in the Lone Star State, they know how to serve theirs up pipin’ hot, smothered in cream gravy, and with sides that will make your taste buds sing with glee.

Here are our picks for the top 10 places to let your inner Texan indulge in the best crispy, tender chicken fried steaks in this great state.

3. SAN ANGELO: ZENTNER’S DAUGHTER STEAK HOUSE

Those who are stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base certainly have it made in the shade by living in the same town as the chicken fried steak served at Zentner’s Daughter Steak House.

The quintessential chicken fried steak is in its best form at this steak house, with a crust golden brown and fries piled high next to it. Wash down with a cold beer, and you’ve got one iconic meal found in Texas.

that white pepper gravy is soooo good. Most don’t use chicken stock. Just water or veggie stock so I can eat it.

I have a huge helping of mashed potatoes and lots of that gravy. It isn’t totally boring being a vegetarian

RE tea. I know about getting the looks for when you ask for unsweetened tea. I do sun tea in glass mason jars. Have cuc and or lemon slices in jar also. Refreshing.

John Garamendi (D-CA) was just on FNC and refused to answer questions about forest mis-management but continued to blame climate change.

Then he goes on to say that Paradise only had one way in and one way out with brush close to the roadway and many people got trapped trying to leave.

Is he STUPID or what?

Both I know.

These congress critters would rather kill people with their infernal climate change than do what they need to do to keep people safe.

SUE THE STATE or it is only going to get worse.
