that white pepper gravy is soooo good. Most don’t use chicken stock. Just water or veggie stock so I can eat it.
I have a huge helping of mashed potatoes and lots of that gravy. It isn’t totally boring being a vegetarian
RE tea. I know about getting the looks for when you ask for unsweetened tea. I do sun tea in glass mason jars. Have cuc and or lemon slices in jar also. Refreshing.
I like unsweetened iced tea also. When my son, raised in Texas, came to visit me after I had moved back to California, ordered tea in a San Francisco restaurant, he was shocked when they brought him a cup of hot tea. LOL. Asking for Dr. Pepper will get you a funny look.
Fun fact: summers in Texas are so hot we make instant sun tea. :-)
