Keep the Truth coming Mr. President
Keep on Tweeting!
Not lightning but PGE power lines. I also read where a bill was passed to make PGE start burying the lines under ground and Governor Moonbeam vetoed it.
But Im always so serious.
Watering restriction also contributed to this fire. Now a days people don’t water lawns because of fines. Residence are either using artificial grass or pebbles in lawns.
Youre so industrious, hoosiermama!
Im feeling so LAZY today!
And its snowing, too.
Its so hard to work hard when its snowing.
Its the snows fault.
:-D
We were served southern style cornbread in Boot Camp at Parris Island, SC.
It came with most breakfast meals but sometimes lunch and supper too.
(It was never called dinner - it was 'supper' or 'late chow')
The northern guys didn't care for the cornbread and usually let the guys from the south have their share.
The southern guys loved the cornbread.
Most of the time they crumbled it up in a bowl, poured milk on it and ate it down by the spoon full.
Or, as you said, sometimes they just crumbled it up and mixed it with other foods - especially beans but almost antyhing else too.
Feel bad?!?
No!!!
Why would I?
You accepted the blame!
:-D
Love your home page!
My mother used to make apple butter, but she also made tomato butter which I loved. I can't find it anywhere. I also loved fried green tomatoes.
Mmmmm.
I love cornbread.
My grandmother made cornbread with no flour and her recipe was very moist.
One thing she did, too, was that before putting the mix into the pans to bake, she would put some oil in the muffin pans and heat them in the oven until it was hot enough to fry the batter a little as she poured it into the pans. Then she baked them.
The edge of each cornbread muffin was deliciously crispy and the interior was very moist.
Mmmmmmmm!!!!
Lol!
Why, thankyou.
Thankyouverymuch!!
;-)
Wow. I had to go look at his Twitter. Now he’s claiming it was sarcasm, merely pointing out that it’s not the eighteenth century. Huh? I don’t think it was sarcasm, and we should treat him the same way they treat President Trump anytime he tries to make a joke. Remember when he was campaigning and joked about three Russians turning over Hillary’s 30,000 lost emails? They still talk about that as proof of collusion.
What he is saying here is the government is all powerful and he would be willing to kill citizens to keep that power.
I was listening to a local call in radio show. Lars Larson. He had a fireman call in and explain about the cause of the fires going to fast. To start out with the terrain where Paradise was is like in a gully. The winds were blowing 55 mph. He said then fire creates its own wind so it was probably burning at 100mph. Then you have sparks which start a fire up ahead. Etc; etc so it is very possible for the fire to burn that fast.
Great minds!
;-)
Why would they burn their sanctuary state? Other than costing money?
That just reminded me of when Texas was burning and Obama refused federal aid.
This story should be good for a chuckle at least.....
"Michael Avenattis Law Practice Evicted From Offices"
https://nypost.com/2018/11/16/michael-avenattis-law-practice-evicted-from-offices/
Stormy Daniels embattled lawyer Michael Avenatti lost a last-ditch appeal Friday to
block the eviction of his law practice from its California offices, according to a new report.Avenattis longtime firm, Eagan Avenatti, had skipped four months of rent payments
totaling $213,254 prompting the landlord, Irvine Co., to sue for eviction.
He cracks me up.
In NC there were several things that struck me. First how well the ladies dressed. I mentioned it to my mom when I moved here Other areas of the country were more casual overall.. NOT NC. Also Christmas. Most friends had a tree in every room Had ONE bedroom devoted to holiday decor storage. Many of the artificial trees were left decorated and covered w/sheet. Normally had one or more "live" tree. Often the balled ones. The folks with vaulted high ceilings often had massive trees.
The best decor I recall is a friend from NC research triangle area. Was a FReeper but doesn't participate since Romney & all the hate that was here. I see her at another forum and on FB. She is an artist and she/hubby very comfortable financially and you simply cannot imagine her home. They have a large elegant place to begin with but starting in early Nov she starts the process of transforming to a winter/Crhistmas wonderland with huge emphasis on Christ in Christmas. Each year she paints a holiday picture. 3'X 2" or so.. and then they create their holiday cards from it.
They have many dogs and lots of visits from family with dogs! They have lived in various places in world and even lived in Paris and took culinary classes with Julia Child! They are both excellent cooks - he being the best. I don't have as much contact with them. Stayed with them last 2 nights about 4 years ago. HEAT of summer. I know it is harder for her as sh has major health issues but a super supportive husband and children
I went through the pix and most of them have me and them in them and in the interstate's of privacy don't want to share.. but here is one of the foyer. All marble , open to second floor and of the front of home. he nigh spot light were amazing.
