evidently (wikipedia) the confrontation clause of the 6th amendment has roots in english common law. our country’s roots in english common law need to be highlighted and the Kavanaugh hearing is an excellent opportunity to do so. The Democrats are with Ford’s outrageous conditions voiding the 6th Amendment and our country’s roots in english common law. If this is allowed, imho it is a slippery slope back to the dark ages or worse. IMHO one really has to be evil to give Ford’s conditions any consideration at all.

That’s why the Democrats are trying to push this to where the Declass docs come out too late to be able to destroy the Democrats in the midterms. It’s not really about keeping Judge K off the court, it’s about the danger to them from the Declass docs.

You make an excellent point, which rolls over into their hope of winning the mid terms. It's all tied together. Kavanaugh/[RR]/DECLAS/Mueller/and more. I'm glad I don't have to sit around developing a strategy. My poor brain would pop.
