Viewing the Incredible Hulk with the naked eye may be a little tricky. Because the comet got so close to the sun and broke up from solar heat, it's rapidly fading from view. Also, thunderstorms and clouds in various parts of the country may impede vision of the comet.
However, experts don't rule out another eruption in the coming days, which could make the comet brighter in the night sky. Additionally, Paul Chodas, the manager for the Center for Near-Earth Object Studies at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, told Live Science the comet may be visible later in August ― around August 15 or 16 ― after it rounds the sun and comes around again.
If you do want to try to view the comet, Tuesday night is your best best, but Wednesday night will work, too.

There’s a link in article, which says it’s passing Mercury, wherever that is.

A friend of my daughter had an old beater that color; he called it “the green booger”.
To: dragnet2
Otherwise, I'm having a devil of a time trying to find a star map that would show the location.

Tomorrow Morning it will be 14 deg above the horizon at sunrise, apppearing in Cancer
You’ll have to have a low horizon, very clear skies, and some luck to see it. It will already be dawn when it rises.
It’s gone, unless you are lucky.

Btw the map at #30 was where the comet was yesterday. The darn thing keeps moving...lol...But it’s in that vicinity.

When I got back to the office and monitored the CB radio, there was a lot of traffic.
It just amazed me that it seemed like it was maybe 1000 feet, but it ended up in North Carolina, when I was in Georgia.

Thank you.
If the sky clears out, I will. Leo is easy to find.
We’re very dry, there’s thunderstorms popping up all around us, and they keep MISSING US!!!!!!
Sheesh, if it’s not going to rain, clear out already.
But then again, it’s CNY where you can count on the weather messing up good viewing for a great celestial event.

Watch the year/date line as it follows the comet. I have not been following this comet, but this map shows the direction or path.

Around that same time (October 9, '92) an incoming rock was burning its way in a little after dark, and it was high school football night, so it was videocammed by lots of people at games, in multiple states of the union. The impact of the known surviving pieces wrecked a car parked in a driveway in Peekskill, NY. I suspect that eyewitnesses had no idea just how long the visible track was or where the last bits were going to land. :^)
