That issue is a great curiosity to me. Why are some thing so OBVIOUS to those of us who maybe use our intuition better; our appreciation for nuance better; our apprehension of the meaningfulness of very tiny puzzle pieces . . . yet so opaque to non-existent to the folks who seem addicted to laboratory-proofs-or-it-doesn't-exist kinds of mentalities. No property taxes and complete sovereignty of use. From what I have learned there is some correlation with the size of the property as well, it used to be 120 acres or greater and special rights that came with it

I once read a claim that the Rothschilds’ wealth was around $300 TRILLION. Others claimed that was more than the global wealth. I’m inclined to believe the $300 TRILLION claim.

Years ago ... some of the mountain clans in that region of NM were fiercely parochial—outsiders risked their lives going into their area. Supposedly some even re-enacted the Crucifixion with a real person to the death. Wouldn’t surprise me of there was still all manner of evil going on there.
