Everyone has a memory of their favorite toys they grew up with. Which toy or toys do you think every child should grow up without? GI Joes for boys? A doll for girls? what do you think?
My brother had a tank that must have been about almost 2 feet and shot shells.
Toy Soldiers
Firecrackers
Sparklers
.22 single shot
Crosman 760
Sling-shot
Punching Bag
GI Joe
Pull-up Bar
Hammer
Saw
Drill
Shovel
Rake
A Big Bang cannon!
and a Jimmy Jet!
Plastic handcuffs and a naked barbie.
Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, maybe an Erector set when they get old enough not to cut their fingers (which for me was about 27), Legos to keep Mom and Dad from walking around barefoot, and plenty of cardboard rolls from Christmas paper to have sword-fights with...
Firecrackers, BB-guns and matches.
You want us to name they toys that kids shout grow up WITHOUT?
.
Crayons, watercolor paints, scissors and lots of paper.
I loved my Legos and Erector Set. I loved my chemistry set too, but you can’t get them these days.
Buy your boy a doll if you want him to turn into a sissy.
I always liked the toy hand grenades you could put more than the approved number of caps from your capgun into. Made a nice noise when it went off. Even better than piling up the caps and hitting them with a hammer.
Just remember - if there isn’t a risk of injury, it’s probably not a good teaching toy for a boy.
Daisy Red Riders are cheap, and a good way to start teaching gun safety and targeting.
What rolls down stairs
alone or in pairs,
and over your neighbor's dog?
What's great for a snack,
And fits on your back?
It's log, log, log
It's log, it's log,
It's big, it's heavy, it's wood.
It's log, it's log, it's better than bad, it's good.
Everyone wants a log
You're gonna love it, log
Come on and get your log
Everyone needs a log
log log log
Legos.
Erector Set and a Slinky
An empty paper towel roll. They can use it as a spyglass, etc.
I agree with the bb gun. Just put an emphasis on safety.
