Royal Gruel???
So, the Brits are just getting round to discovering tostadas. The food of lower and middle class peasants in the American West.

For the royal lunchtime reception, the bowl food part of the menu included:
-Fricassee of free range chicken with morel mushrooms and young leeks
-pea and mint risotto with pea shoots, truffle oil and parmesan crisps
-10-hour slow roasted Windsor pork belly with apple compote and crackling
All the ingredients have been sourced from companies holding a royal warrant.
Wow. Really healthy and boring-looking food. I imagine the Queen - who has absolutely lovely food served in all her palaces - must have tossed it all behind a column. Undoubtedly, a Megen innovation.
With the pork belly, guess it’s a good thing the ululating crowd outside the church wasn’t invited to the reception.
Ooooh, I’m all hip! Had a bowl of yogurt for breakfast. Had a finger food sandwich for lunch and have a glass for water on the desk.
KFC Famous Bowl. Insert into cup holder and eat away as you text and oh yes... drive.
Slow-roasted pork belly? How insensitive to Muslims.
What’s the big deal?
We’ve been serving bowl food to our dogs (and the Cat), for decades.
No complaints from them...
Theres a Fresh Kitchen in Orlando that only serves bowl food!
Its a big hit!
Their coconut and and ? rice ( like risotto) is yummy.....but I cant think of the 2nd ingredient?
‘Bowl Food’ is a restaurant trend that’s been around for several years:

A rack of ribs wouldn’t fit.
Betcha this ‘bowl food’ is halal.
What are y’all complaining about?
I’ve had bowl food at parties and it is usually great!
Small enough to walk around with and you can always go back for another. It is also a great way to try yummy exotic food. If you don’t like it, put it down and try something else!
Some people aren’t happy unless they’re complainin’... Just sayin’....
It looks better than the left over Chinese I’m having for lunch........
It is also known as Trail Mix and readily available at Aldi markets.....
With all the broken shells, I decided to make my tacos in a bowl 20 years ago... doubtful I’m the only one.
Soul food?
