A man was arrested in Dunfermline, Scotland, on Saturday for carrying a potato peeler in a public place “without reasonable excuse” and faces up to four years in prison. The Dunfermline Sheriff Court confirmed to Breitbart London that Scott Walker, 39, of the James Bank Hostel, James Street had appeared Monday, charged under the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995, for carrying “an article which had a blade or which was sharply pointed, namely a potato peeler”.

Scotland, the land of kilts and Scotch. Was once peaceful and nice. Unfortunately, it too will go the way of England, with the individuals now slowly marching in, and slowly making babies on the Scotsman’s dime.

SO if the slippery slope is countries with guns, then countries with laws against them, and countries without many guns, and then countries where the absence of guns make knives and other bladed tools illegal, and then countries where knives are mostly eliminated, we get to a point on that slope where potato peelers are illegal.

I’m trying to imagine the bottom of the slope. Rope, string, twine and anything that could be a ligature... including later, fabrics of any sort. Chemicals, including acids and strongly caustic substances (poisons should already long since have been illegal), all the way down to sodas or anything carbonated or containing salts. Also, any materials that containing chemicals, including soaps, detergents, bleach, ammonia, petroleum byproducts, and obviously solvents.
Where this degrades to, for public safety of course, is people wandering around nude, dirty, cold or sunburned, hungry, and devoid of any tools or technology. Welcome to the future, Mr.Potato Peeler Man
