Best movie and score pairing EVER.
The first song we played on our stereo - around 1968 or 69 I guess one of those 6 foot long wood cabinets, built in speakers and the turntable rose up when you lifted the top. It sounded great.
One of my favorite songs over the last 40 or so years. Hard to beat Hugo Montenegro’s version though.
Surprisingly: check out youtube, The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain , The Good the Bad and The Ugly.

Wonderful! I have it bookmarked.
Here’s another version that I like though it’s not quite as elaborate:

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CLICK on the streaming error bs on that site.
I got so addicted to listening to this I had to give myself a break...earworm you know ;-)
Not only an amazing performance by the orchestra and choir, but the technical quality of the recording is equally good. Not many can make that statement.
I like the conductor (conductress?) too ;-)
That is a magnificent rendition. We listen to it frequently. World class musicians and singers.
Awesome - from my favorite western..
That was fantastic!
It certainly did not hurt that the conductor is smoking hot!
Thanks for posting it!
Same here. Back in the 60s’ most of the radio ID jingles that ran on Top 40 stations were made by PAMS in Dallas, and to get a different sound, they used a native American woman named Gleni Tai on their classic Series 27 “Jet Set” package. She sings these wild high soprano parts WAY above the male chorus and it made a really really unique an dunforgetable sound. The first cut here is a good example:

The human voice is an amazing thing...
I love the guy hanging from the rope by the neck. 8>)
Outstanding, thanks!
Called a spaghetti western but absolutely grips the viewer. That grave yard scene with Tuco running around and looking for the buried gold...... Great stuff!.
