The Israel Antiquities Authority announced on Monday that a unique stamped piece of clay from the First Temple period, inscribed in ancient Hebrew script, was unearthed in the authority excavations in the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem's Old City.
The artifact originally belonged to the governor of the city of Jerusalem the most prominent local position to be held in Jerusalem of 2700 years ago. According to the excavator, Dr. Shlomit Weksler-Bdolah, "the Bible mentions two governors of Jerusalem, and this finding thus reveals that such a position was actually held by someone in the city some 2700 years...

Please point me to examples of documents or seals that are contemporary with the period of David and Solomon and that corroborate the biblical account of their rules. Seriously, I would love to be proven wrong.

Not mentioned in your links above, so I did some googling and found recent mentions.
However, all the links I could find (i.e., Jerusalem Post) are too clunky to use, and near as I can tell, they're talking about recent finds of King David era seals.
Of course, there is a King David stela from Tel Dan, circa 800 BC, found in 1993.
