The Israel Antiquities Authority announced on Monday that a unique stamped piece of clay from the First Temple period, inscribed in ancient Hebrew script, was unearthed in the authority excavations in the Western Wall Plaza in Jerusalem's Old City.
The artifact originally belonged to the governor of the city of Jerusalem the most prominent local position to be held in Jerusalem of 2700 years ago. According to the excavator, Dr. Shlomit Weksler-Bdolah, "the Bible mentions two governors of Jerusalem, and this finding thus reveals that such a position was actually held by someone in the city some 2700 years...

But “Muh Palestinians wuz here before argument”....

Wow! That means that the Jews’ Torah and the Jewish version about what happened, where (on the Temple Mount) and when is all fact.
But...but that does not jibe with the Paleostinian revisionist historical narrative that so many fools have adopted...what will the Arabs do?
LIE AS USUAL...
The TORAH is a hebrew word meaning INSTRUCTION.
Thank God for His instruction.
Yahshua said:
They that hear and obey the WORD shall be blessed.
“Above a double line are two standing men, facing each other in a mirror-like manner. Their heads are depicted as large dots, lacking any details. The hands facing outward are dropped down, and the hands facing inward are raised Each of the figures is wearing a striped, knee-length garment. In the register beneath the double line is an inscription in ancient Hebrew, with no spacing between the words and no definite article.”
“The inscription denotes ‘lesar ha’air,’ or ‘belonging to the governor of the city.’ The title ‘governor of the city’ is known from the Bible and from extra-Biblical documents, and refers to an official appointed by the king. Governors of Jerusalem are mentioned twice in the Bible: in 2 Kings, Joshua is the governor of the city in the days of Hezekiah, and in 2 Chronicles, Maaseiah is the governor of the city in the days of Josiah.”
“It is very overwhelming to receive greetings from First Temple-period Jerusalem,” . . . “This shows that already 2700 years ago, Jerusalem, the capital of Israel, was a strong and central city.”
Amen Brother!
Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition...
They still haven’t found any archeological evidence of the people known as Paleostinians?
No, thse are Phileostinians

lesar haair, uses the definite article (’ha’).
BTW, it’s signed Donald Trump;->
Theres actually a fair amount of archeological evidence to support the biblical account of the Divided Monarchy period. We are still waiting for the first piece from the United Monarchy period though. Its rather frustrating.
i thought they found a small house from the David-ic period, about 10 meters or more down. Haven’t read about it, but I’ve seen it at a dig once, don’t recall from where I heard that it was David-ic. The stones were irregular shaped, put together like a Chinese puzzle.
There have been structures from the period but no documents or seals. No contemporary mentions of David or Solomon. The closest mention of Davids name was around a century after the period.
My pastor, Lon Solomon, always says, “the more they dig out of the ground, the more the Bible is proved correct.”
I listen to Pastor Lon on some Sunday mornings as I am driving to church.
Great Bible teacher.
Biblical texts are proven true over and over again. And yet people deny it.
I expect that eventually archeologists will find contemporary confirmation of the biblical account of the United Monarchy period. It’s a bit surprising that this has yet to happen.
Unfortunately, he just retired and I miss him so much. Best Bible teacher I have ever heard. I was privileged to call him my pastor for 25 years.

Many very significant artifacts continue to be found in the old “city of David” site.
Way beyond any shadow of doubt.

Total ignorant falsehood!

Your pastor is on solid ground on that assertion!
