A leading astronomer studying the origins of the space object known as Oumuamua has come out declaring its an alien probe with broken engines. Dr. Jason Wright claims that Oumuamuas movement is that of a craft that has lost power to its engines.
Right now, leading scientists are studying the odd cigar-shaped object which originated outside of our solar system. Teams lead by renowned physicist, Stephen Hawking, are attempting to discover whether or not Oumuamua is alien or natural. If a radio signal is detected later today, scientists will proceed with caution.
Professor Avi Loeb, Professor of Astronomy at Harvard University, sais: My recommendation, as in any dialogue, is that we first listen and do our best to understand what we are hearing. Once we figure this out, we can decide how to respond, he said. Overall, I am an optimist. I believe that a very intelligent civilization will be peaceful, and we could save ourselves millions or billions of years by learning from it. But there is also the possibility that such a civilization will have hostile intentions and risk our existence, so we should deliberate carefully in any future contact with them.
According to the Daily Mail, Dr. Wright from Penn State University is already declaring it a spacecraft. Oumuamua is about a quarter of a mile long, 260 feet wide, and currently traveling at 196,000 mph. Rather than moving through space like other natural space rocks, astronomers believe that it is tumbling through our solar system.
Such derelict craft would, if they are not traveling so fast that they escape the Galaxy, eventually thermalize with the stars and end up drifting around like any other interstellar comet or asteroid, Dr. Wright wrote in his blog. In fact, since they (presumably) no longer have altitude

Seems today that you can find someone who will say anything, for their 15 minutes.
Penn State sure has their share of losers (consider Michael Mann).
Yo Mama so big, she needs the Sun’s gravity to change direction.
Can’t anyone spell “led” anymore?
Maybe it’s all the steriods.
LOL...the Winner!!
“Many of us that are enlightened and knowledgeable of evolutionary processes are also knowable of accretionary processes.”
I get that. A great deal of what is called “evolutionary processes” are observable and verifiable.
But the article distinguishes “whether or not Oumuamua is alien or natural.”
Does this mean that something “alien” is therefore not natural?
Are aliens supernatural? Paranormal? Spiritual?
Or, more directly, is Oumuamua intelligently designed? How can we know?
I’ve been pointing out for years that if we see a turtle on a fence post then it is more logical to assume someone put it there than to speculate that there was a recent flood, or some other silly conjecture. Occam’s razor cuts both ways.
SETI does not broadcast. It receives.
You lost me at...Stephen Hawking.
SETI has received nothing for how many years, now.
What a joke.
I do believe there are plenty of aliens out there.
What I don’t believe is that they would be stupid enough to broadcast on the electromagnetic spectrum.
Only humans are that dumb!
Don’t ya see the windows on the side? ALIENS looking out!
Now for truth. It’s as much an alien probe as the face on mars is human. Go back to science, and stop naming things with stupid names like Oumuamua.
What a joke.
No, the aliens are much too evolved and smart for that.
They disguise their rocks as probes.

Humpback whales!
Pronounced Ou mua mua?
Oh brother, who comes up with this crap?
I will say though, that the object is quite peculiarly shaped, and it's trajectory is very ... interesting. Looks like a classic gravity assist. Too bad we don't have any hardware out there to check it out.
Are the evolutionists going to develop a criterion for identifying Intelligent Design?
Thank you. The hull is impenetrable.
