Mandatory Title: NFL LIVE THREAD Week 6
Posted on 10/10/2017 6:10:46 AM PDT by Bender2
Ya know, I'm a kind'a half full guy and while me and my Cowboys were getting our guts ripped out by big & Aaron's Boys, the powers that be appear to decree that I have to use the "NFL LIVE THREAD" title when posting--
So, in for a penny... in for a pound.
First, the disclaimer:
OUR WAY OR NO WAY!
Jumping off the cliff with the Left-- How far will you fall?
Okay, we say hypothetically, as the Left wants, ban Bump Stocks-- What will they demand we next do away with?
High capacity magazines? Already on the list.
Assault Rifles as the Left determines (meaning most semi-automatic weapons that even look scary)? Already on the list.
If not banned out right, then how many 'assault rifles' you can own? Okay, what will they want to limit next?
Any firearm? Already on the list.
Knives? Already on the list.
And finally we tricked down to any conversation opposing any gun control? Already on the list.
The Left never tires in demanding it be their way and only their way.
Sound familiar? I rest... my case--
And I will continue to post my NFL LIVE THREAD without any demand that anyone watch any NFL game or support any NFL player or product. Live and let live--
BTW The news media, even Fox, continually shows their ignorance and/or total regard for any facts about guns. Any guns.
It is not worth listening to such lack of truthfulness.
BTW #2 The Left goes on and on about fully automatic weapons (i.e. their definition of all semi-automatic 'assault rifles') when any non-registered machine gun has been illegal since 1934 and of those ten thousands of legal registered 'machine guns,' only a hand full or less have ever been involved in any crime.
I answer the Left's tirade against gun violence by asking what has taken more innocent American lives in the past 49 years since the 1968 Gun Control Law came into effect: guns or abortion?
Okay, off the soap box and away we go--

My predictions:
Kneeling/fists/disrespect will be down this week but will not disappear.
Viewers will also be down but will not disappear.
Complaints from both sides will continue to rise.

Football has been really important in my family, for 25 years it's been the big event that brings us all together to watch games in the fall. My 85 year old mother looks forward to that in a big way and I could never tell her "no, I'm mad at the protesters so I won't watch the game with you". To those who choose to boycott the NFL, I get it and wish you well. I watch one game a week .. only one ... and I will as long as my mom is alive. So thanks for taking the heat and keeping the weekly post alive.
So some picks:
- Eagles on a short week in Carolina, my heart says my Birds win it but my head says they are due to slip.
- Baltimore tears up the Bears.
- Cleveland? Are they still in the NFL? Well, they lose again. Nice work trading that pick for Carson Wentz, Browns, how's that working out for you?
- Detroit's on a roll, they take out the hapless Saints.
- Green Bay is not going to lose to whoever the 3rd string QB is in Minessota.
- Miami lost a coach to stupidity this week, Jay Cutler was asked about it and said "Whatever". Which is all he ever has to say. Miami loses.
- New England loses to the Jets because I wish it to be so.
- Washington spanks the 49ers.
- The Rams come back to earth and get abused by the JAX defense. In an offensive showdown JAX wins it 5-4.
- Arizona is brutal and the Bucs are ticked off at losing on the last play to the Pats. They make up for it with a win this week.
- Chargers are doomed. They got their one win for the year, they go back to their losing ways in Oakland. Karma!
- Pittsburgh is struggling ever since Tomlin humiliated one of their players publicly (karma!) and I don't see a trip to KC as a recipe to right the ship. KC takes a close one.
- Eli Manning completes two touchdowns to himself because there isn't anyone else to throw it to. But the Giants still lose to Denver in a blow out.
- Tenessee gets the win on MNF because ... I don't know, Indy just isnt good especially without Luck.
Thats my take.

Our fortunes will run closely this week Bendy as I differ on only 2 of 14.
2 hot teams, I'll take the Fig Newtons at home
My Bearlies have been garbage on the road, that will continue
Ain'ts ain't good enough to top Cletus' loinchops
No early line on GB/MIN, the Packers will win, write it down, my lock of the week
Atlanta will have Culter wishing he stayed home with the cat
Return of the Jet'i? No, the Empire takes this one
The 69ers will win in the Eastern Time, at some point, some year, not this week
Rams/Jax a good matchup?!?! Give me the road team.
Woe for my Olde Chi Cardinals as I think they lose another
Carr might actually play, either way I'm taking Oaktown, the Boltz got off the schneid last week and will get back on
The Chiefs will lose, they'll lose 2 or 3 or 4 times this year, but not to the Kneelers at home.
Diet Manning will lose his carbonation quickly at this altidude
And I'll take the Teats over the Unluckys
