President Trump on Wednesday called a reporter very rude for asking him during a ceremony on the White House lawn how he decided to ban transgender people from serving in the military.
A female journalist shouted the question to the president on the South Lawn after he spoke to a gathering of American Legion Auxiliary youth.
Trump paused, shook his head and told the children, Shes very rude.
The president shocked much of Washington when he announced on Twitter on Wednesday morning that transgender people could no longer serve in the military.

There has to be a rule. Remove the press credentials of anyone in the press who asks questions at a special event that don’t relate to that event and its participants. Why are some of these guidelines taking so long?
“The president shocked much of Washington when he announced on Twitter on Wednesday morning that transgender people could no longer serve in the military”
Fake news and now fake issues. Obama rolled that out last year and Washington reacts as if Trump has trifled with the laws of nature. It is not a law of nature, only an attempt to weaken the military and destroy the American culture.
Maybe they ought to just start having a WH film crew cover the event, with reporters required to sit in some studio across the street and just view the feed and clip their material from there. Over the past decade, I’d say that it’s getting more like a circus than an actual public event.
Yes, even if the rules exist, have Scaramucci send out an etiquette guide with the warning that similar behavior will be banned in the future.
It is a relatively new thing to have Trump stop and call out rude press at the WH like he did at campaign rallies - I think he feels the Coms office actually has his back now.
You shout out a question at an outdoor ceremony, don’t expect to see the inside of the briefing room for a while.
By standing up for normal people and traditional values? After 8 years of Obama, yeah, that is shocking.
These trans whatevers are part of the same gang as the media so this was to be expected. They have no understanding of they fact that they lost and keep wanting to make believe Hillary is in the White House so they could do whatever they can think of.
Don’t they say ahead of time whether the President will or won’t be taking any questions at photo ops like this?
Excellent idea!
Odd how the reporter’s name isn’t mentioned in the article.
Recall when some reporter was admonished by coworkers for asking Ohola an unscripted question at a press conference.
... or just ban them outright.
They’re not going to put a positive word out about anything anyway, so screw them. Let them sit in their offices somewhere, peer wistfully at their posters of Karl Marx, Fidel Castro and Barack Hussein Obama, and tearfully recall the old days when they actually seemed to serve some useful purpose.
Was it a shock to Washington when Obama changed A long standing tradition NOT to allow Transgenders into the military? I served in the military from 1968 to 1972 and gays were not allowed in the military, they were driven out if found to be engaging in the behaviour, the military was fine.
The disruption happened when the America hating radical Obama tried to change human nature.
Of course it was all fine until the fraud evolved on the issue.
Name me one traditional institution in our country that has NOT BEEN CORRUpted by the communist aholes
The whole idea is stupid. People who are diabetic, and therefore medication dependent, are not allowed to be in the military, at least when it comes to combat duties. I am pretty sure I wouldn’t be allowed when it comes to steroids. People who are genuinely transgender and take regular steroids to maintain their forced gender identity are drug dependent and shouldn’t be around for that reason.
The over-arching question should be, how could ø have allowed it to begin with?
“We ALL know the answer.)
I remember when guys wore dresses to get out of the military.
I even love these little wins.
What kind of world are we living in when people are “shocked” by sanity? Incredible.
