My wife has stage 4 metastatic cancer. She has battled this before and survived twice.
This time the cancer has reached her brain and the doctors are a bit more apprehensive than before.
Does anyone know about grants? All of her doctors are telling us to apply for grants to pay for her medicine.
Any advice would be appreciated. I may not be able to respond right away, but I will do my best. Lots of planning and preparation on my part.

THC (pot) is another fast acting tool in brain cancer. It cured one of my cousins in about a month, just toking a joint a few times a day.
.
May the Lord Jesus bring healing and peace to both of you.
My Friend no has all the answers - even the best doctors. We are fortunate to live in an age when you can find scads of solid science and medicine information in an instant.
Prayers are welcomed and appreciated.
They give me my shield to help and protect my wife. They are the source of my strength.
I am so sorry to hear of your struggle.
God bless your wife and you. Keep praying.
I know nothing of paying for treatments. Avoid the alternative nonsense and make sure you proceed with real medicine. My sister wasted a month with chemicals of pretty colors on certain schedules when they found she had it in her brain. No time to try foolishness.
Unless your wife is diabetic, might I suggest a ketogenic diet (one extremely low on carbs). From what I read, cancer cells cannot absorb ketones — the product of fat burning — but they can absorb glucose. Meanwhile, healthy cells can absorb both ketones and glucose.
The problem with putting diabetics on a ketogenic diet is that it can be deadly for them specifically.
We are aware of the Charlotte’s web treatment

The “alternative nonsense” is what works.
Its the Life First route.
No harmful “side effects,” no wealth-building programs for quacks and Pharma billionaires.

.
The issue with Ketogenic programs is that it requires considerable blood testing to get it right.

I lost my mother to cancer in 2013, and found out a lot from that battle. There are natural things that can slow it down. Shark oil and shark cartilage are held by some in the natural health community to be effective.
Lessons learned:
#1. Stay away from ALL sugar. Sugar feeds cancer! Cancer has a lot in common with fungal conditions. Cancer eats sugar for food, and sugar makes our bodies friendly to cancer growth.
If you have a sweet tooth, look into cooking with stevia, and all-natural sweet herb. There are stevia brands now that taste almost like sugar but don’t raise blood sugar.
#2. Stay hydrated! Cancer doesn’t grow as quickly in a well-hydrated body. There was a study that showed that most cancer patients are dehydrated. Dehydration puts the body in a state that promotes cancer growth.
Quacks? Wow. Pot meet kettle.
It pisses me off the money being made by these charlatan snake-oil salesmen (it is what they are) while I watched my sister die.
Pharm actually put money into research and manufacturing, AND FDA hoops, while these charlatans spend minimal and make mucho profit.
Prayers up for your wife for another recovery.
Yes, baking soda, Vit C, etc. THC is maybe the most effective now. I know a few personally that have been cured with this. I suggest seeing a doctor that is familiar. I don't believe that chemo would cure me so I'm prone to take an alternative approach if ever necessary.
You should try to get in touch with a patient support group for the type of cancer that your wife has. People there who have gone through the same thing will be able to point you in the right direction with regard to the most effective scientifically based treatments and options for paying for them.
Prayers for your wife’s health and healing, and for you and your family in coping.

Could you please put me on your Ping list? Thank you
I am so sorry for everything your wife, you, and your family is going through. I am unaware of grants during my own cancer. However, I would recommend reviewing NCI clinical trials. Cancer has caused my own financial ruin and has done the same to those I know dealing with AML and stem cell transplants.

I’ll keep y’all in my prayers.
As long as we’re dispensing dietary tips, a shortage of vitamin D is associated with elevated cancer risk. Calcium helps the body absorb vitamin D. So I take a vitamin D/calcium supplement.
