If you are a man having trouble getting a date, you may just not earn enough money. A new report reveals that a significant portion of American women refuse to date men who earn less than they do.

Then they complain “there are no good men out there”.
That’s why men lie to get laid.
Some will find a relationship with a wealthy man ... most will become crazy cat ladies.
How can they ever reach pay parity with an attitude like that? ;-)
I guess this is the result of watching years of ramora leeching onto guys with higher incomes.
I like a woman who isn’t afraid to compete with me. And I don’t want a woman who would put up with a wimp.
And yet I know several women who are, in a strange way, happy to date or be married to bums who don’t work.
It’s more than that: women don’t want to date “low status” men. A woman with a PhD in sociology generally won’t want to date a man who is a plumber, even if he makes more money than she does. Conversely, the “bad boy” guitar player will get plenty of dates, even if he’s not making much money.
Women want to date the guy who their friends will be impressed with.
That’s alright, I am sure there are many men who refuse to date women who make more than they do.
Awe...come now it isn’t materialistic, it is in many ways a hard-wired Biblical standard that the man provides for the family.
Men are called to be the primary leader, protector, and provider for the family.
If the single purpose of dating is to find a husband, I can’t disagree but that seems to be narrow-minded. If the only reason a woman dates is to find a husband then women shouldn’t be upset if the only reason a man dates is to find a sex partner. Both are singularly after the thing they want most.
No wonder marriages often fail then since both are in it only for themselves.
Thank goodness i don’t have to worry about being hounded by rich women.
Which helps to explain the rise in American men looking to Asia or the former Soviet Union for wives. The women there do not have (usually) unrealistic standards for men.
They also have to deal with men who make us look really good.

There's plenty of "good men" out there. It doesn't matter if the women find them "unexciting". Women want the men who make their vaginas tingle.
Unfortunately for many of these women, they want men who have better options than dating THEM, while rejecting the men who would actually be willing to marry them.
Then there are the women who spend their youth "riding the cock carousel", sleeping with charming, exciting men who are fine with dating them only as long as there is "no strings" sex offered. Then they get bitter when their youth is all spent, the exciting men who wanted them in their 20's have moved on to younger women, and the only men now available to them are the men they rejected in their youth.
Not news. George Gilder wrote of this research years ago.

And many women date men without caring about comparative salaries.
To get laid, you have two choices:
- be rich
- be a bum
Women are attracted to both. If you’re somewhere in the middle, you need luck.
