After 12 seasons, “The Bachelorette” is ready for a shake up. ABC has named contestant Rachel Lindsay the first black lead of “The Bachelor” franchise, sources close to show confirmed Monday to Variety. Though the network has not released an official statement, series creator Mike Fleiss teased a “historic announcement” will be made during Monday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Oh, come on, you know why. 1) Not enough “victim points”. 2) Wouldn’t be as entertaining in a trashy sort of way. Most likely the Vietnamese girl won’t have sex with everyone on their first date, nor reveal she’s a shameless gold digger, nor will she have a quizzical look on her face if asked “Do you know who your father is?”

(1) Who really cares about this show besides mush-headed leftidiots?
(2) Even if you do care, who cares about the race of a “Bachelorette”? Is she attractive, intelligent, and interesting? Those are the standards I use for dates. Could not care less if they are white, black, brown, orange, green, or any other color. Seems like someone once stated the only thing that really should matter is the content of one’s character. Gee, wonder who that Republican was? (Hint: Most on the left have no idea he was a Republican.)
Because Hollywood really is racist despite their protestations to the contrary and mocking of “fly over country” as a bunch of racist hicks. LA is one of the most racist places I have ever lived, and Hollywood is one of the absolutely most racist parts. Part of why I left. Well, that and the taxes, corruption, crime, pollution, failing infrastructure, etc.

I don’t know how anyone could watch one episode.
And why would anyone care if they’ve got a black woman on there? Why did it take so long?
Just the fact that they’re making a big thing out of it is racist.
I actually mentioned to my wife I found it amazing they had not to this point in the process. Amazed BLM didn’t picket them earlier.
