I am a 54 year evangelical Christian conservative who has been happily married to my wonderful wife for 26 years.I am originally from suburban Philadelphia, but have lived in the DC/ Maryland area for 17 years. I am a self-employed carpenter, licensed home inspector and a huge Phillies and Eagles fan. I was a lurker at Free Republic for over a decade until I finally realized that I needed to join. I love America, believe that it is the greatest nation ever to exist on earth, and am appalled at what I am witnessing in our government and in our culture. I am staunchly pro life and pro family, but also am very fiscally conservative as well. I thank God for Free Republic, because it has assured me that there are many others across this nation who share my values and worldview, and are not ashamed or afraid to express them.
