What was once Episode VIII is now The Last Jedi.
When cameras started rolling last year on the eighth film in the Skywalker family story, writer-director Rian Johnson used the tongue-in-cheek working title Space Bear, and numerous rumors (most of them false) about the possible real title have circulated ever since.

Not the first three (I, II, III from 1999-2003) or the "original three" (Star Wars, Empire, Jedi...) BUT
The last one of the first three (best of a bad bunch, whatever its name was) ... Rogue One ... and finally Star Wars.
Made sense to me.
The “best” Star Wars movie.....Spaceballs.
"Looks like your Schwartz is bigger than mine."
“Leia isnt one, and luke curently still is the last one.”
In the new canon, yes. Leia, still according to the new canon and the old, has the same gifts as Luke. They’re going to have to kill off Leia now that Carrie Fisher is dead.
I love it when hilarity ensues
It can be a double feature with "Indiana Jones and the Fountain of Metamucil"....
"Nazis! I hate those guys... they hide my car keys and glasses..."
Star Wars Episode XX - The Search For More Money
They are working with her estate to use her image.
I have one that a guaranteed winner;
“Star Wars: The Torture and Dismemberment of Jar Jar Binks.”
“They are working with her estate to use her image.”
No, they denied they are doing that and if they did do it it would only be for a scene lasting a handful of seconds. Perhaps a death scene or scene right before her ship is blown up - something like that.
Actually it might be reversed. Lucas is apparently a Mason, and the Jedi were originally called the "Jedi Knights Templar," with the Emperor representing the Pope and the EMpire the Catholic Church. But who knows.
As it does on the backside description of every comedy on tape or DVD..............
Star Wars Episode IX: Not Another Jedi Movie
Star Wars Episode X: Let Me Tell Ya ‘bout Jedi Chicks
Star Wars Episode XI: Star Wars Alderan Vacation.
I’m trying to get financing. And help with the scripts...
Hmmm. Interesting.
Episode ix: OK, Let’s Try the Script Without a Princess
Hopefully terminating Star Wars with no more sequels to the sequels to the sequels and the spin offs thereof.
The last Jedi but certainly not the last episode.
Part I : The beginning.....
"Are you Jar Jar Binks?"
"Yes".
*PUNCH* OW! *WHIP* AAAAAAAAAGH! AAAAAAAAAAGH!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH! *SOUND OF CHAINSAW* AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!
Is the title referring to Luke? According to Episode VII, “The Force Awakens”, he would be the last Jedi left, and that episode ended with the heroine locating Luke and offering him his lightsaber.
(I suspect we’ll find out she’s his daughter.)
