Absolutely stunning!
That’s one lucky couple.

Karas has since shared the photo on Instagram and Facebook in hopes of hunting down the couple ... He might start by searching at the bottom of the cliff. :-P

She has a lot of faith in him, standing with her back to the cliff, LOL.

I would have been queasy standing that close to death.

Attempting to Track Down Couple
My first thought is to search the bottom of the canyon.......

You know what will happen: the couple will sue him for unauthorized photography.

Words fail. What a beautiful and poignant image. I hope the newlywed couple sees this and contacts the photographer.

What a beautiful photo. Props to the photographer. He had an unexpected opportunity, and in the seconds he had to react, he captured an image for the ages.

I see he's got her between him and the ledge, he's no dummy.
Beats my wedding photo in front of Red Roof Inn (not really, but did spend our honeymoon night there, my dear wife is a practical gal).
Great photography, but where's the wedding party, and the cake?

What a way to take the plunge!

Perfect metaphor: Wedding day is the pinnacle, with limitless vistas. After, it’s down into the canyon, never to escape or be heard from again.

I’m guessing the couple helicoptered up to the top of Half Dome for this. Otherwise, it’s a 5-hour hike and climb from the valley below to where they are in the picture.
If any of you are in decent shape, you gotta put the Half-Dome climb on your bucket list.
It’s worth the workout.

I see it as a new day dawning and the world opened up before them, infinite in its beauty and possibilities.
But then, I'm just a romantic at heart.
