Why is Uranus on its Side?

It’s impossible to do an article about Uranus without opening up the back door to a spit storm of potty humour....

Anyway, perhaps one of the strangest aspects of Uranus is its tilt....

The Earth is tilted 23.5 degrees away from the Sun’s equator. Mars is 25 degrees, and even Mercury is 2.1 degrees tilted....

Uranus is 97.8 degrees...

...[A]stronomers define the angle as greater than 90 degrees when you take its direction of rotation into account. When you describe it as turning in the same direction as the rest of the planets in the Solar System, then you have to measure it this way.

What could have done that to Uranus, how could it have happened?

...

The early planets smashed into each other, pushed one another into new orbits. Some planets could have been spun out of the Solar System entirely, while others might have been driven into the Sun. Our own Moon was likely formed when a Mars-sized object crashed into the Earth. Other moons might have been captured from three body interactions between worlds...

The Solar System that you see today contains the survivors. Everything that wasn’t delivered a death blow.

... This means that something smashed into Uranus while it was still surrounded by the disk of gas and dust that its moons formed from.

... Astronomers think it was more complicated than that, however. If it was a single, massive collision, models suggest the planet would just flip over entirely, and end up rotating backwards from the other planets in the Solar System.

It’s more likely that another collision or even a series of collisions put the brakes on Uranus’ end over end roll, putting it into its current configuration.

Too many starship troopers stationed on Uranus.

And just how do you get any tilt at all from a uniform disk of dust that the planets supposedly formed from....Hmmmm?

Why you invoke collisions, just right collisions. Why here we are right back where we started.

“... and we humans have only begun to scratch the surface of its wonders.”

And that’s not counting all the unreleased, altered and, missing data NASA has withheld for 40 years.

No.

It is more like recreating a billiards shot. Any shot.

If you assume the starting position of the balls in the rack, hit them with the cue ball, and end up with a final position.

What they are doing is coming up with one (out of many) possible ways that the balls could have gotten from the starting position to the end position.

Since they do not have all the facts - such as actual starting position - or other large cue balls in play - their resulting scenario will be wildly off from what actually happened.

However, by making an initial guess, by putting the first straw man into the ground, that idea can be tested and thought about.

Then new and different models can be developed as research and facts provide the missing information that made the first model erroneous.

The only (nearly) certain information they have is the current location, size and motion of the existing planets, moons, dwarf planets, some of the asteroids and meteors.

One theorists explained that long ago a large body moved through the solar system and “kicked ass.” It also caused, he said, the retrograde rotation of Venus. I supposed it flipped it over entirely, but I am not a theorist.

Thanks for that tidbit. I didn't know that Venus rotates backwards.

And really slowly, too. One "day" is longer than an entire Venus year.

Bizarre.

It’s because of global warming. It got loaded on it’s side.

Venus is really hell. If you stood on the surface of Venus, you would be under the same pressure if you were over 3000 feet under water on earth. Satellites that land there are destroyed in a matter of seconds. Read up on its weather.

Uranus is often referred to as an “ice giant” planet: Like the other gas giants, it has a hydrogen upper layer, which has helium mixed in. Below that is an icy “mantle, which surrounds a rock and ice core.

But where does all that methane come from?

And that’s not counting all the unreleased, altered and, missing data NASA has withheld for 40 years.

Or the technological advancements that have been buried in black projects, never to see the light of day, nor used to benefit mankind.

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but it's my firm belief that our government now possesses spaceflight propulsion technology so advanced, it would appear like science fiction to most people. I think they've had it for a long time, and that it serves hidden, globalist masters.

According to some the black community has existed for so many tens of decades and has acquired so much money that it no longer exists within some small niche, but within a world of its own separate and secret from the rest of us.

A former Skunk Works person said something like: that if we wished to travel to the stars there is no problem - there are “documentaries” on youtube - believe at your own risk/or take as fact if you wish.

The NASA stuff, however is documented and is real - like the recently released decades old images of the Martian surface with blue skies and rocks with green on them.
