An Olympic athlete and his accompanying cameraman have been robbed of their luggage at a Rio hotel during a carefully designed theft which started with them being vomited on. Chinese hurdler Shi Donpeng had just arrived at his hotel in Brazil ahead of the start of the Olympics on Friday and was exhausted after the long journey from China.

my grandparents travelled frequently. They said Rio was one of the places they would never go back to. Grandpa (a fairly savvy guy) got his front pocket picked and there was a dead body in the gutter in front of the hotel for several days before it was finally cleaned up.

It is my daughter’s dream to participate in the Olympics. No way she was going to make it this year, but she has a couple more shots at it.

I told her to be thankful she didn’t make the cut this year.

A similar situation happened to my nephew. Back in the 90's he spent a year in Europe playing hockey. One day at a train station a Gypsy lady was approaching him with a baby in her arms when she suddenly tripped and the baby flew out of her arms right at my nephew.

While he attempted to catch the baby, the Gypsy lady's accomplice grabbed his camera bag which was lying beside his feet then made off with it.

When he finally realized it was gone so was the gypsy and her baby........LOL!
