I actually feel for these athletes. They’ve worked so hard for their whole lives to fulfill their (or their parents) Olympic dream. And now, that dream seems a bit like a nightmare they can’t escape.
It is my daughter’s dream to participate in the Olympics. No way she was going to make it this year, but she has a couple more shots at it.
I told her to be thankful she didn’t make the cut this year.
