A similar situation happened to my nephew. Back in the 90's he spent a year in Europe playing hockey. One day at a train station a Gypsy lady was approaching him with a baby in her arms when she suddenly tripped and the baby flew out of her arms right at my nephew.
While he attempted to catch the baby, the Gypsy lady's accomplice grabbed his camera bag which was lying beside his feet then made off with it.
When he finally realized it was gone so was the gypsy and her baby........LOL!
