Fox News host and chief political anchor Bret Baier is working on a book about the waning days of Dwight Eisenhowers presidency and the beginning of John F. Kennedys administration.
William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins Publishers, told The Associated Press on Monday that Baiers Three Days in January: Dwight Eisenhowers Final Mission would come out in January, around the time the successor to President Barack Obama will be sworn in.

Big hitter, the Ike.
At least he didn’t title it “Killing Eisenhower.”
Can’t have too many first hand accounts. Those days are gone.
Our last Military President.
Screw Bert Baier and screw Fox News too.
Ike may have been eastern establishment, but he certainly was a far better executive than history gives him credit for. Far better than any of our recent presidents for sure.
No one ever writes a four volume set about Gerald R. Ford anymore.
Missed the "Caddyshack" reference I guess. Baier was the boob who asked the Dali Lama if he'd seen the movie or played golf.
Wouldn't that be George W. Bush?
Disappointed Ike never lived to see Caddyshack.
Ike..the best company clerk MacArthur ever had.
Our first black president Eisenhower’s mother was mulanto. He is decendant of slaves. (She also had a college degree in engineering)
Possibly Gen Patton didn’t kike Ike!

He will finally tell us if Ike had seen the movie “Caddy Shack”.
That was an awkward moment. Like the old SNL Chris Farley Paul McCartney interview .
Awkward? What the hell was Baier thinking? At least the SNL piece was a comedy skit. I was under the impression the interview with the Dali Lama was supposed to be serious.
Thanks Olog-hai. Not a GGG topic, but this may be of interest to the GGG list?
Eisenhower was elected twice to the Presidency in his own right, and completed both terms (note: that's two conditions, so don't write in, okay?). The previous Republican (and at that time, the only one) to achieve that was Ullyses S. Grant [Hiram Ulysses Grant]. The next one was Ronald Reagan. And the fourth and only other was George W. Bush. After Ike, from 1961 to 1981, the US had five Presidents (four and a half, because of Carter being a half-assed prez)
Yes, I threw up a little bit in my mouth.
Hey Dali, how about a beer.
