'Latinas for Trump' holds its first event in Miami: 'We don't think he's a racist'

MIAMI – Shortly after Ted Cruz and John Kasich abandoned the race for the Republican presidential nomination, Denise Galvez found herself in a conundrum. The Cuban-American public relations guru had voted for Sen. Marco Rubio in the March Florida primary that he lost by double digits to the eventual nominee, Donald Trump. “I have known Rubio for a long time,” Galvez said. “I thought he was the best candidate.” She could have either sat out the general election, temporarily switch her allegiance to the Democrats, vote for Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, or cast her ballot for Trump, a candidate who derided Mexicans crossing the border as “rapists” and recently drew bipartisan criticism over his comments that an American-born judge of Mexican descent is biased against him. “I’m not gonna sit it out,” Galvez recalled. “At a recent event, I was talking with other women about politics. We were almost ashamed to admit we were all leaning toward Trump. We were talking about establishment politicians taking us for granted and not putting this country first.” So about a month ago, Galvez and her girlfriends formed Latinas for Trump, a grassroots organization that has seen its numbers swell to about 250 members. Last night, Latinas for Trump held its first rally at American Social, a local bar in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida. About three dozen Trump supporters, a majority of them females, mingled with one another over cocktails and appetizers. Galvez and her crew also handed out red t-shirts with “Latinas for Trump” in white lettering. The group’s coming out party comes at a crucial time for Trump. He has come under fire this week over his comments about a Hispanic judge, with one senator even pulling his endorsement of the presumptive GOP nominee.

Mr. Trump will, I hope, include some speeches, rallies, whatever... in neighborhoods where Latins and others live

i am not asking Mr. Trump to change his politics or to rewrite even one word of his speeches (indeed, such pandering is just what Hitlery does, including a patently fake Negroid accent that MUST drive black folk MAD with rage?)

anyway, some R’s seem to have pretty much avoided some neighborhoods or cities, is all I am saying.... it makes the entire R party look just awful when they do this, too....

TRUMP is attracting minorities on the strength of his PC free and no-nonsense message.

I agree with you that in the past Republicans left votes on the table, ignoring minorities. However, there are few to none of minority neighborhoods that can be safely entered in America by Anglos for much of any reason. (As it is also in London and Paris).

Minorities for TRUMP know these dangers are real and existant. They will have to come to TRUMP on their own steam, and out of respect for his safety in these dangerous times.

They have ears to hear his message. Thankfully, we no longer have to have neighborhood door bangers canvassing for votes, what with electronic media roaring into our hands and head 24/7.

Trump went to San Jose, California (a major city of over a million people and one of USA’s few remaining prosperous ones, too, what with Massive (mostly wealthy) Asian (communist China, mostly) investment plus some of USA’s few remaining succecessful businesses “(the capital of Silly-Con Valley”).

a city without a visible poverty ghetto (yes, a Latin quarter but it is NOT a poverty ghetto)

a city where any sensible person would think he could be reasonably safe visiting.

But NO, the D’s and commie street thugs a la Obama turned San Jose into Chicago

so.... Trump can’t visit ANYWHERE safely.
He MAY AS WELL visit anywhere and everywhere he might attract votes. AND so-called MINORITY NEIGHBORHOODS are...or can be...receiptive to his JOBS JOBS JOBS message!

if he will at least include them in his delivery of that important message.
