I agree with you that in the past Republicans left votes on the table, ignoring minorities. However, there are few to none of minority neighborhoods that can be safely entered in America by Anglos for much of any reason. (As it is also in London and Paris).
Minorities for TRUMP know these dangers are real and existant. They will have to come to TRUMP on their own steam, and out of respect for his safety in these dangerous times.
They have ears to hear his message. Thankfully, we no longer have to have neighborhood door bangers canvassing for votes, what with electronic media roaring into our hands and head 24/7.

Trump went to San Jose, California (a major city of over a million people and one of USA’s few remaining prosperous ones, too, what with Massive (mostly wealthy) Asian (communist China, mostly) investment plus some of USA’s few remaining succecessful businesses “(the capital of Silly-Con Valley”).
