I think I have an idea to make millions. Invent a shopping cart that you ride in, with an enclosed “cabin” that doubles as a potty. Just do your business while you’re shopping. The port-a-potty/shopping cart automatically flushes when returned to the shopping cart storage unit. No more need for bathrooms.

IMO the most important thing in regard to bathroom policy is the safety of children!
It is now, and always has been, acceptable for young boys to accompany their mom or sister to the ladies room instead of being forced to use the mens room alone... anyone with common sense know why this should be OK.
The risk to young girls forced to share a public restroom with males claiming to be transgendered just as a way to gain access to little girls is UNNACEPTABLE! It’s a shame that people who really are transgendered and merely want to pee are impacted by this common-sense necessity. But the safety of the little girls is paramount!
I have on occasion invited women to use the mens room while I kept guard at the door. It sometimes happens that the line is so long for the ladies room at things like sporting events that they are in danger of having an accident. letting those in distress use the mens on such occasions is the right thing to do IMO.
If a true M2F trans person passes so well that no one would ever guess then I see no reason for them not to use the facility they want... but if they cannot pass then why would they wish to inflict anxiety on other women and especially little girls? It’s unfortunate but life is not always fair.

From a pure marketing view:

Your women customes do not feel safe.
Therefore, they will go elsewhere.
The CEO will be replaced.
The assumption is that everybody using the ladies room will be an honest gentle person, without an evil thought in their mind. The reality is that the world is populated with evil, dangerous predators. These people WILL take advantage of this situation. Maybe not tomorrow or the next day, But as sure as the sun rises in the east it will happen. The question that should have been asked is “Will you assume personal responsibility for ALL sexual assaults that occur in Target restrooms?”
Well We would stop by Target I would say 2 times a week. Prob spent between 250 350 a month... We havent gone into a target since... There was no huffing or puffing or chest thumping.. .. when we said, oh we need this and such... Target ? Nah lets do wal mart ... there was no hysteria, no panic, we just said... Meh, lets do wal mart. I imagine many many other just say... meh! Lets go to wal mart.
Offer bathrooms.
No gender, or sex, or “identifies as,” etc.
If you want to go to the bathroom, go in a private room and do it.
This poor businessman (businesswoman) is caught in a strange cultural situation. His/her job is to maximize profits for shareholders.
Cost - higher than a shared men’s or women’s room.
Business success - priceless.
