For those millions of women and girls who have been victims of sexual assault and abuse, being confronted by a man in the restroom or locker room is a real trauma trigger. Recent moves by the Obama Administration seem designed to make them silent victims once more.
This week on Freedom Matters, Kaeley Triller, a sex abuse survivor, joins Bob, Kerri, and Matt to share her story and talk about the unintended victims of new bathroom and locker room policies. Kaeley was fired by the YMCA for standing up against a new policy that opened its bathrooms and locker rooms to member of the opposite sex. On why she decided to speak out about her abuse and this important issue, she said:
“When I was growing up my abuser liked to watch me in the shower. He would stand there and watch and laugh. For me growing up I was very, very protective of my physical space. Even as a college athlete I would shower in my underwear. I know how much work it was emotionally for me to even use a locker room in the first place. To realize I could suddenly turn around and be confronted by the sight of a naked male, I felt like that was really offensive. I ultimately lost my job over this . . . I hear every single day from at least one more rape survivor that says, ‘me too.’

What they made us do in pulbic skool, shower naked together, should be criminal.

I am not without compassion for mixed up souls who don’t identify with their gender, but commingling the sexes, regardless of declaration, just shouldn’t happen.
We are without compassion for them. If we had compassion for them we’d put them in a Nervous Hospital.
We faked it after gym class. We would wear a towel into the shower room, splash water on our arms and shoulders, then walk out. Trying to remember why we thought we had to look as though we had taken a shower. Was our gym teacher checking on that?? I have a vague recollection of that. Don’t want to dwell on it!!!
I knew a family who had a morphadite. He was the family secret. He wasn’t a transgender though. They kept him hid out on their farm. Don’t know whatever happened to him.
That pretty much sums up how far we’ve fallen in the last 50 years.
Those are people born with both sex organs. Usually one is dominate over the other and in that case it’s best to let them decide what they want. Either way they are sterile.

Never voted for either one but I could understand the first and his support. ( the whole Camelot thing ) I am totally dismayed at the support our current president still commands.

Hermaphrodites are a different issue. Usually they gravititate toeards what they are, often they have surgery to correct it.

Almost always sterile. Sometimes one set of genitalia have functioning reproducive capaility.

Stella Walsh was one. She/he won the gold back in the 30’s on the women’s team. They used to call her “Stella the Fella”. She/he had both organs but she (lived as a woman all her life) looked manly.
The real war on women.
I am straight. What the hell is Target do to me when I go into the girls restroom to make sure a pervert does not assault my granddaughter? How will the straight women in the bathroom feel about my presence?
I live in Texas and with the exception of Austin us grandads know how to take care of the problem!

are we going to place personnel at the doors of restrooms and locker rooms everywhere, and guess at the individual’s sexual identity.?
what about the guy that from a distance appears to be a passable woman, but upon close examination turns out to be otherwise? Actual women in the room will still be pissed, but how can it be prevented? After all, we are only as humanly civil as our mildest depravity allows us to be, which assures that this commingling will happen, and with mucho gusto...
