The Martian was one of the biggest hits of 2015, and was nominated for tons of year-end awards. But being as it's set in space and in the near future, we thought it best to bring back Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson to help us separate this movie's sins from its wins.

Not sure why he attacks religion so much rather than focus on science. Maybe it’s the attention he gets from making these statements.
Oh, it has been calculated down to the penny, how much we have spent rescuing Matt Damon over the years.
Costs of rescuing Matt Damon (2015 currency):
Courage Under Fire (Gulf War 1 helicopter rescue): $300k
Saving Private Ryan (WW2 Europe search party): $100k
Titan AE (Earth evacuation spaceship): $200B
Syriana (Middle East private security return flight): $50k
Green Zone (US Army transport from Middle East): $50k
Elysium (Space station security deployment and damages): $100m
Interstellar (Interstellar spaceship): $500B The Martian (Mars mission): $200B

This is one where I was glad to have seen it before I read it. Therefore, I liked it.
Sometimes it works out that way :)
I'm not going to give him a hard time. The guy's gotta eat. And keep up the payments on that mustache and haircut.
Now that right there is funny!! Thanks for the laugh.
Ack, ack aaackkk!!
I was certainly surprised to learn that the Hubble space telescope and international space station were within fire extinguisher distance of each other.
Tyson is a egotistical idiot.
Playing on the 3D channel on Directv - have to try to catch it one of these days....
Folks, please relax. I know that movies are for entertainment. This video is also for entertainment. :)
