Despite conventional wisdom that he is not electable, Donald Trump is leading Hillary Clinton by two percentage points in the crucial battleground state of Ohio, says a new Quinnipiac poll.

No Republican has ever captured the White House without taking Ohio. Trump out polled Clinton 44 percent to 42 percent.

Interesting. Quinnipiac is biased far to the left.

Ohio is Trump Territory in the general. I’m more worried about VA with those darn beltway suburbs.

An important point on Trump’s electability: winning the Presidency is a state by state thing.

Trump can lose the popular vote nationally via massive losses on the West Coast and in New England, but still win the Presidency in the electoral college. National polls generally mirror the eventual outcome, but this is already a highly unusual race where the usual rules apply. State by state breakdowns are what matter.

OH is important. So is that recent poll showing Trump a real contender in NY.

Interesting.
FL + OH is generally considered the GOP golden ticket.

Of course old rules amd CW are just this side of meaningless this year... time will tell.

Narrowly Schlonging. Sounds like the name of a guitar riff by Ted Nugent.

FWIW, some are saying that there are inner city folks who like Trump's message, and that any poll won't properly factor that in.

It's tough to get a read on OH. It isn't a place with parts that are connected in any way.

The Trump phenom I understand. Hillary at 42% makes NOOOO sense to me. Mostly because common sense guides me I suppose.

Interesting that supposedly he would lose to her nationally, yet polls show him beating her in the key states of Ohio and Florida.

I’m not too worried. I know Trump can beat her, and polls showing Rubio or Cruz easily beating her are just a little trap put out by the media.

We all know they are going to savage the nominee, just like they savaged their darlings McCain and Romney.

No one is going to have it easy, but probably Hillary is beatable by any of them if it’s done right.

At this point in most presidential elections, polling shows the democrat waaaay ahead. Looking at everything that’s going on, I believe Trump would absolutely clobber Clinton if the election were held today.

If Trump wins all four states this Saturday Cruz and Rubio have no chance. Trump would have won 14 states, and make that 15 if Cruz hadn’t cheated in Iowa.

I’m waiting for the news that has spilled out on ‘weird’ news sites, that Abedin Huma has been indicted by a grand jury.

Now, what grand jury, and who held court for that jury, I have no blazin’ idea.

However!

What i find ‘odd, strange, amusing’, is that Huma’s last name is very close to the word “Abadden”, or how the scriptual synonymic-sounding name is spelled.
