With a financial empire as big as his, there may be financial statements, etc. that are still being prepared.
One point - often the IRS does have documents, but you have to show the simpletons that they do. My wife is a CPA and you wouldn't believe the tales she tells about the IRS. In this case there is probably at least a 99% chance he was targeted, at least partially, for political reasons, and no dedicated 0bamunist bureaucrat wants to come away with nothing, so every point will be argued ad nauseam.
