After the Iowa caucus things will have changed and I might get back into it.
But for now, I will not engage in any more arguments pro or con Trump or Cruz.
I know this post will be scoffed at, but I dont care. I just feel like doing it.
As for Iowa: Go Trump.
Kick butt in Iowa and I think the nomination is pretty much yours.
Well, bye.
LOL!

...pales if compared to the anti-Cruz posts.
Well, the Trumpsters will keep the Kool-Aid warm for you.
I am for Cruz, but I sympathize with you. I’ll accept either as the nominee. I’m also tired of this carping back and forth between the Cruz and Trump factions. Let those two work it out.
My main purpose here is to keep that frigging Mexican Jeb Bush from getting the nomination and to keep Rubio sweating down in the ranks of losers where he belongs.
Not (scoffed at) by me, sam! FReegards! Hope to see you around.
Thanks for the heads-up, Sam. I understand.
Good..
It is time for all of us to remember who the true enemy is
Eric Cantor is busy over in Davis saying that Trump would be a disaster for the US. Sure thing Eric as if you and the establishment have been such a blessing
Probably a good idea.
How come a Trump used to stand up to Clinton aide Stephanopolous, but now takes Georgie’s advice.
I never saw a bigger 180 after Trump attacked Cruz.
Two Corinthians.
...lasted about 10 mins.
I feel just the opposite:
The barrage of anti-Cruz posts is just wearying and I just cannot keep up with them all.
Bottom line...
I like Trump AND Cruz.
I think Cruz can help Trump with conservatrive government principles, and be a great VP setup for Pres. 8 years from now.
I think Trump will generate a HUGE TURNOUT that will help sweep in a lot of GOP and hold congress (both houses) in a way Cruz would not.
So, think ahead people. 16 years of no democrats winning a majority.
I have been agnostic on Trump versus Cruz. Both have good and bad qualities to me. I would vote for either of them as nominee. But I have not picked someone yet.
We will never get a perfect candidate. Right now the biggest problem to this country is immigration. I greatly admired Reagan and still do but his amnesty was a horrible mistake. There is much I like about Cruz but his handing out teddy bears to illegals and associating with crazy Beck is a definite minus point. I do not agree with everything Trump does, but he did an enormous favor to all of up by his rejection of PC, of opposing importing Syrians, etc. He dared to speak out and paved the way for discussion on these issues when nobody else did.
Palin was liked on this site. Suddenly when she endorses somebody who is not the #1 choice of some posters, and does it effectively, she is attacked in a manner that copies the attacks on her by the left and MSM.
True, we all have to get back to our vans down by the river. No time.
Try making a statement questioning Trump's potential as a President and see wait for the incoming nasty that you will be hit with.
You'll feel worse than that son-of-a-bitch who gave Donald a microphone he didn't like.
They are easy to identify. Follow the following steps:
I've only checked a few out recently, but it does seem like some older Freepers have suddenly woken up.
There is something about Presidential elections that brings out the Rip Van Freepers.

I am for Trump but if he falls I would gladly vote for Cruz.
I’m tired of it all too. Have turned off the TV. Listen to Rush; that’s all.
I’m supporting Ted Cruz. Plan to vote for him. What happens will happen .. and there’s nothing more I can do about it.
I’m much too busy .. looking to possibly move to another state .. requires a lot of planning. Plus, I’m getting ready to go full blast into writing my next book. That’s more than enough to keep me busy.
I’m glad to see Sarah Palin back into politics. She is very smart .. and she will add a lot to the endeavor. I’m only sad because she didn’t choose Ted. But, it’s her choice.
I’ll be checking on FR .. just to see what’s going on .. but I can’t spend as much time here, and accomplish all that’s required before the end of this year.
Funny - I was thinking the same thing. It’s getting bad around here - time to take a step back.
The sad thing is that no matter what you say about either one of them you get jumped. If you say Trump is doing a good job getting people’s attention you are attacked for being an anti-Cruz Trumpbot. If you say you like what Cruz had to say about energy you are attacked for being a Cruzer who hates Trump. And most of the time the attacks don’t even address what you said, it’s just personal attacks on the speaker. “Screw the message, let’s just kill the messenger.”
I get it, in so far as if you read comments on one Cruz or Trump thread you have read them all it is the same every thread.
Even if you are critical in the most civil manner possible you are toast but I criticize anyway even my own candidate if I think he deserves it. It is kind of like watching wrestling it looks brutal but they are all professional at absorbing body slams and chairs smashed over their head, minds are made up at least for the first leg of this race. For the observer now it has devolved into pure arm chair wrestling entertainment enjoy it.
Go ahead get your own licks in, put a pile driver on someone at the end of it all nobody really hates the other guy on FR, even though they may accuse you of being a hater as a conservative you should already be use to it, yeah the hatred seems hard coming from within but I believe that will pass, all this nonsense is not new it is kind of a tradition and each time it seems worst than the last, kind of like a knock down drag out family reunion every four years.
