I grant you, it's a shack made of slightly radioactive boards and scraps of metal, but it a home nonetheless.
Laz, I have no idea about anything about the Fallout games, but I so admire your enthusiasm about them.
My eldest son is a gamer for many years. It is a special world.
I’m almost 70...and I enjoy playing it. Does this make me abnormal??? I kind of see it as “training”.
Finally bought an xbox 360 last year.
Never owned any console— or played these kind of games — before. Bought some old games to try it out.
Played Fallout Las Vegas to the conclusion. Now adventuring in Skyrim.
Amazing stuff. Very different from what I expected. Skyrim is a beautiful world.
:sigh:
It sounds like an interesting game but that just puts it off-limits for me.
What is the map size? As large as Skyrim?
I can't wait until the modding community starts releasing their mods.
I will play this game as soon as I find the time for it (which, being a Bethesda game, is hard to do).
Are the ghouls still whiny characters, perfect parodies of liberals?
Does this game have anything equivalent to the Experimental MIRV from 3 or the C-finder from New Vegas in terms of raw destruction?
Are the factions more open-ended like NV, or do they have a faction which is annoyingly perfect like the Brotherhood from 3?
Since when did FR become about video games?
Love to play it sometime. I hear the PC version is simply horrible. So I’ve been avoiding it and playing world of warships.
Oh if you want awesome music to play while liberating the Commonwealth, allow me to recommend a few

Glorious, and thank you.
My kids are so into this game that they went out and bought a replacement 55” tv today.
I am playing it and I love it! So much fun.
Loved F3 and Vegas, but 4 sounds like such a huge departure, with so much emphasis on crafting and base building.
I’m finding idiot savant might be a bit over powered.
I play all 3 Borderlands, Battlefield 2,3,and, GTA V, Left4Dead 1 & 2, but I couldn’t get into the Fallout craze. I really tried with Fallout 3, but it was a bit boring for me. From what I gather from the commercials the main character is wearing a mech suit?
On a side note, XBOX had the two new Wolfenstein games this weekend for 80% off, so I reckon I try them and kill some nazis.
That's all from Mr. New Vegas.
Maybe you can help me out. I was enjoying FarCry 3 on my old video card, but I wanted FarCry 4 to be amazing, so I bought an EVGA 980 ti. Overkill? Maybe, but I’m tired of my computer struggling. But, it’s still struggling. I mean FC3 was improved, but it does a weird thing where it does a slow redraw of the scene when I first start the game. EVGA thought it was another component so were reluctant to let me RMA. I’ve moved over to my Wii U and just playing Super Mario Maker (which is fine, it’s great). But, I’d love to play Fallout 4 without hitches. IF my card is fine, which of these components needs to be replaced:
Intel i7-2600 @ 3.40GHz (can’t be OC’d)
8G RAM
Asus P8P67-M mobo
The processor and motherboard are at least 4 years old. I do get huge slowdowns with things like browsers if I’m doing something intensive, so I could have a memory issue.
Sorry to bug you, but this “super rig” has been lame since 2011 and I don’t know why. :(
So has anyone else gone round the bend on Minuteman quests?
I’ve done so many, they are repeating. If I get another “clear out the Corvega plant” or “My friend was kidnapped’, I swear I’m going to start getting sadistic on these settlers. I think I could probably wall them in with structures. Maybe they’ll starve to death.
I have however found a way to skip some of them, every time one of them walks up to me and asks for something unprompted, I put them on supply chain duty...and off they go.
I was so worried about the radiation in the glowing sea that I didn’t go until I could upgrade my armor to lead coating...and then it’s trivial. I was all stocked up with radaway, Radx etc...I could walk around for hours end barely get irradiated. I know there are some goodies out there, but the place is really barren.
I’ve just started focusing on the railroad quests, I’m not sure if I’m onboard with those synth lovers. We’ll see.
I am liking FO4 so far, but several things are annoying, including key mapping issues. I do like the settlement building; much better interface than the New Vegas mod that tried to do the same thing. Can’t wait until the GECK comes out so I can fine tune it a bit though.
