Nice thread. Bethesda created a masterpiece with Skyrim, so I hope Fallout 4 is as good.

What is the map size? As large as Skyrim?

I can't wait until the modding community starts releasing their mods.

The map size isn't the issue. It is the map DENSITY.

The size is actually small. But every little bit of the map has 4, 5, 6 explorable and interesting areas.

FO:NV, FO3, and ES-Skyrim have bigger maps, but much sparser.

Same physical size BUT almost the entire map is accessible. So effectively way more area to explore.
