He was speaking at the National Press Club today and completely eviscerated Donald Trump. He started out by saying that he likes the idea of Trump calling out the establishment and that his diagnosis on Washington DC is correct. He finds the Trump show very entertaining and says he even laughed when he gave out Lindsey Graham’s phone number. But while his diagnosis is good, Jindal says Trump’s prescription of himself is not what America needs.
But then he lit into Trump, calling him a narcissist who only cares about ‘Trump’ and says the only reason he likes Kanye West is because West likes Trump. Jindal notes that like all narcissists, Trump is really weak and insecure and afraid of being exposed.
He had several really good jabs at Trump, but one that I thought was a particularly good zinger was when he explained why Donald Trump can’t even tell you his favorite verse in the Bible. He says Trump has never read the Bible because Trump is not IN the Bible! Wow.
Jindal says for the first time in a while conservatives have a real chance of winning, and yet right now an unserious candidate is leading the pack.
I have to say that I love what Jindal said. He really threw down the gauntlet and laid out the case against Trump better than anyone has thus far. And he didn’t do it in a mean and nasty way. He did it in a very thoughtful and substantive way.
Now all of a sudden Jindal looks like a serious candidate who is willing to fight for this nomination. BRING IT ON

He treats any question or disagreement about his vague positions as an attack. After all, he’s Donald Trump, he’s not supposed to have to explain his positions the way those other more intelligent and knowledgeable candidates do. And he knows that the best defense is a good offense - especially one so off the wall and personal that it completely diverts attention from his ignorance.
You do know that the Democrat Party and Republican Party are two teams playing for the same owner[s], don’t you? They play each other every day and no matter which team wins, the owner’s agenda is advanced. And the sheep remain pacified, secure in the knowledge that their team has only their interests at heart[ not a good description, but the only one I could come up with at the time].
How about all the childish and sophomoric attacks BY Trump?....Aren’t they true?
Yes, I do know about the Uniparty. We need a new party that represents us. How many more times does the GOP have to stab us in the back before people finally recognize that it does not, and will never, represent us.
Oh, it COULD represent us, we just have to successfully execute a coup d’etat and fire, fire, fire.
So the GOPe is starting its counter attack with Jindal and Carson. What a joke. Won’t last a news cycle. Most people don’t know who Jindal is, don’t care, and won’t want to hear from him again. As with Carson, shame on him questioning someones religion.
Maybe Bobby wants to be a Senator someday. He couldn’t get a gig scooping WH dog poop after that vicious attack. Those words were something you’d say at a Roast or Gridiron dinner, not to advance us from defeating the Left via We The People.
That is correct. And that is a big flaw in our system.
Candidates should be financed ONLY with limited amounts with tax payer money. No superpacs, no rich donors. And term limited at 12 years maximum.
That will take most corruption out of politics.
Do you think for 1 minute, rich donors give big money for nothing?
So right now we have a great opportunity. We have a candidate who is willing to give up his life of luxury, and take a huge pay cut, because I am convinced he loves this country, and genuinely wants to change it’s direction.
Trump has the personality to win. Perot did not. Perot looked like a door to door salesman. Trump is a foot taller and looks like a president.
Another low polling candidate trying to glom on to Trump.
If Trump is so irrelevant and wrong, why even discuss him at all? We know the answer ;)
Bitter are you? Actually, it’s funny. What Jindal said today has now superseded the remarks Trump made about Fiorina in Rolling Stone magazine, in the news cycle. It started out this morning about Fiorina on all the morning shows, and now it’s all about what Bobby Jindal has said. The enemies of Trump have upstaged themselves and their own story, lol. Talk about bad timing.
And Trump still has plenty of time during the day to respond to Jindal’s comments which will once again further shift all the news to the Jindal story and the Fiorina insult will fade ever more into oblivion. Plus Trump has them by the b*lls. How can the Feminazi’s come to the defense of Fiorina without saying she needs defending because she is a defenseless woman, and, the poor thing, must have others go to bat for her because she is incapable of doing so herself? Then she shouldn’t be running for, or ever be our President should she, if she can’t even stick up for herself without help. Game, set, match.
Whatever Trump is doing, must be working? He is still surging in polls!
Why argue with success? Theories are just theories. results are always real and omnipotent.

Voters are very tired of politics as usual. Trump doesn't need the position to advance himself...and I like his family and how well they act in their adult lives...CLASS AND CHARACTER.

I know it must be very frustrating seeing someone else gain traction when you aren’t, but you can’t simply come unglued and attack. That won’t truly help yourself.

I read that when Jindal was born, his parents were not U.S. citizens, maybe had just student visas. If true, then no way does he qualify for POTUS. At least one parent should be a US citizen.

That is just not possible in my humble opinion. The GOP has a deeply ingrained culture of accommodation with Democrats, longstanding political relationships in DC, the financial backing of very powerful business interests, and a cadre of the same old political operatives and hacks who have been with the GOP for decades. Trust me, its nearly impossible to turn this ship around. The party won’t even get rid of Boehner and McConnell despite the fact that the base hates them. And, there’s another layer below them that’s just as bad.
Note how the GOP has mistreated Ted Cruz and the Tea Party. That should tell you a lot about the true nature of this party.
Seriously, if you have a viable plan to execute a coup please share it with us. Maybe it will get some traction.
