He was speaking at the National Press Club today and completely eviscerated Donald Trump. He started out by saying that he likes the idea of Trump calling out the establishment and that his diagnosis on Washington DC is correct. He finds the Trump show very entertaining and says he even laughed when he gave out Lindsey Grahams phone number. But while his diagnosis is good, Jindal says Trumps prescription of himself is not what America needs.
But then he lit into Trump, calling him a narcissist who only cares about Trump and says the only reason he likes Kanye West is because West likes Trump. Jindal notes that like all narcissists, Trump is really weak and insecure and afraid of being exposed.
He had several really good jabs at Trump, but one that I thought was a particularly good zinger was when he explained why Donald Trump cant even tell you his favorite verse in the Bible. He says Trump has never read the Bible because Trump is not IN the Bible! Wow.
Jindal says for the first time in a while conservatives have a real chance of winning, and yet right now an unserious candidate is leading the pack.
I have to say that I love what Jindal said. He really threw down the gauntlet and laid out the case against Trump better than anyone has thus far. And he didnt do it in a mean and nasty way. He did it in a very thoughtful and substantive way.
Now all of a sudden Jindal looks like a serious candidate who is willing to fight for this nomination. BRING IT ON

Well, there is that. On the other hand, it’s the only route for them to become newsworthy.
Trump should ignore this attack, just laugh it off if asked.
The long knives in the GOP are out for Trump. Not sure he can survive the relentless onslaught from within his own party. They are the ones who will do him in. Trump is an outsider and a threat to the Republican status quo; they desperately want to take him down.
Can’t go wrong with Cruz, Walker or Jindal.
And what Jindal said, “he likes the idea of Trump calling out the establishment and that his diagnosis on Washington DC is correct.” reflects Trump’s positive contribution.
Oh Bobby, you can kiss your chances good bye...
If one thing you people of the GOPee should know by now, you don’t attack Trump....he is good at attacking back and he will to you to...Bye Bye....
carsons response to trump criticism of carson’s amnesty support is telling. Carson demonstrate what he would do in a crisis. He would not do anything. IOW useless.
Bobby Jindal? Hmmm? Why does that name ring a bell?
This is an article and video from The Right Scoop. I haven’t given any analysis.
Jindal is just talking like Trump does. Nothing wrong with it.
What do people expect the other candidates to do; sit around and be passive?
So it looks like the current plan of attack is Donald Trump’s faith or lack there off.
I’m glad to see some of the candidates are standing up to Trump. He has done nothing but attack other GOP candidates since day one, usually in nasty and personal terms.
The GOPe must have called an attack in.
*****************
Exactly right. Just like calling in an air strike. The GOPe wants him out of the race in the worst way.
“How about all the childish and sophomoric attacks BY Trump?”
How about all the childish and sophomoric [COUNTER] attacks BY Trump?
Fixed it.
I think he is somewhere around 3%. He has nothing to lose by attacking Trump. I just wonder if he did this on his own or the GOPe put him up to it.
Whatever doesn’t kill Donald just makes him stronger.
Jindal has absolutely no chance of winning the nomination. I have to wonder why he’s running at all.
“Not sure he can survive the relentless onslaught from within his own party.”
As the common parlance has it, the GOPe has no clue. That is what they think. They are in for a big surprise.
