Time to move on. Too juvenile and too much name-calling. Not near the level of critical thinking that used to go on back in the day. I wish the best to all the good ones left out there.
Powers Booth was Magnum PI? I must have missed that season.
Ted Cruz or Rand Paul supporter I suspect
Stick around, and ignore the idiots, including on this thread, while putting your own critical thinking into posts. Maybe you’re just talking to the wrong people here?
Don’t say “goodby”, just say “spaghetti”. It confuses people.
What a horrible loss to FR!
A long time ago, I left for about a year and a half. Too many idiots. Now, I mostly read and don’t post much. But I’m still here.
I don't see that here, at least not among the participants. I guess you do see some curt and intemperate expressions of opinion sometimes. I guess I tend to discount those.
How 'bout this:
Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen,It seems like just the other day when we were all talking about ClassyGreenEyedBlonde's farewell he moved on to a mental health facility.
I remember thinking that it would be hard to say goodbye ... and I was right - it is hard.
Yet I consider myself fortunate to have met such a special person ... a person that we care so much about ... that it makes saying goodbye to him / her hard!
As we say goodbye, we remind ourselves that farewells are not forever, nor are they the end. They are simply words to say that we will miss you dearly and that we will remember you fondly.
Although we may be separated by time and distance in the interim, nothing will diminish the important role that you have and always will play in our lives.
We wish you happy adventures, fantastic new friendships, amazing experiences and the journey of a lifetime.
Richard Bach says, "Can miles truly separate you from friends? If you want to be with someone you love ... aren't you already there?"
And so it is ... and always will be with you as we carry you always close to our hearts.
May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand - Irish Blessing
Where’s the Opus?
Powers Boothe
From Tombstone
Open GOP presidential primaries are always rough and tumble times on FR from 2000 through 2008, 2012 and now the 2016 nomination.
FR provides a much greater value beyond the family squabbling.
A pity you’ve lost sight of that.
Couldn't ask for a better parting gift
A suggestion. Instead of an opus, just take a break from FR for awhile. A week, a month, a couple of months, etc. There’s a lot out there to do/prepare for/work on/etc. Then come back and see how things look to you.
ClassyGreenEyedBlonde, lol, hadn’t thought about those days in awhile!
Now that’s how it’s done!
Don’t forget to leave a donation on your way out. Back rent.
I just want to say if i have offended anyone...oh well, i will get over it.:)
Stay and fight.
There are still reasonable, and thinking people here.
Hate to see an old timer go.
Powers Booth not Tom Selleck
Sounded like a Trump supporter from one of the posts. I could be wrong. There is too much trash talk here for some. More constant.
